And the AF operates a longer range and keeps the boom because it's saved more than one air crew by locking on. And the AF doesn't use a Rio, it uses a Wizzo that is at least a qualified pilot and the AF 2 seater fighters all have controls for the Wizzo. I was the only officer certified to launch and control the different types of weapons, including air, surface, and subsurface. I also previously served a deployment on a ballistic missile submarine.

What is your expertise in? Short-sheeting racks?

1. we had no reason to be in Vietnam--much last kill innocent people
2. we DID go into Afghanistan and displaced the Taliban/etc---you can't catch or kill them all--same in South Vietnam
....a. --as stated many times---these are very complicated wars....some of the warlords that worked with us, are also friends with the Taliban...some of the people that hate the Taliban, did not like us there--etc
3. AGAIN---Afghanistan and Nam are/were not an industrial countries like Japan and Germany!!! --bombing/etc will not accomplish anything except for making MORE Afghans/Vietnamese hate the US
