here's the thing, let's take Poodle at his word, that he considers programs like OSHA, EPA, Medicare, Medicaid, Socieal Security to be "Oppressive", as opposed to the good old days of the turn of the century were robber barons could rape the working class and make kids work in coal mines without some meanies in the government telling them that was wrong or something.

That mean old government, making the water safe to drink and the air safe to breathe and the food safe to eat... they are just taking away from our ability to be rugged indivualists!!!!

We'd like to see a government keep it's hands off of individual's property, rather than interfere with people who want to build a house but get stopped because some EPA goon calls a puddle on their property a "wetland".

We'd like a government that makes sure the people who enter this country are vetted for criminal history and can contribute something to our society rather than take resources from us.
