When I saw that I laughed my ass off. I don't laugh much in politics but I get Trumps humour even though at times I don't agree with it in the middle of a campaign.
That said, this is a power move never seen in the W.H.
It reminds me of the old CIA story I read years ago where agents were trying to squeeze some Middle Eastern sheik to help them. To gently pursuade this guy, who was married with kids; they calmly showed him a video they had made with him in bed with a woman who was not his wife.
Fully expecting this guy to plead for discretion, they showed it to him and waited for his response. To their surprise he said "oh look at that, this is great. Can I get a copy of this too" etc.
The CIA actually laughed to themselves afterwards at the balls of this guy. He didn't care, in fact, he relished in it. They walked away from him as a possible source at that point.
That is the message from Trump. The front page of the NY Post with his mug shot hanging in the WH. A pure boss move and reminder to his enemies "I didn't back down".

I consider myself a really tough guy. Mentally more than anything, I'm a "what's worth fighting for it worth dying for" type of guy, so I don't look for trouble but I wont back down. As a teen I was homeless at 15, tortured by corrupt police and didn't rat anybody out or throw anyone under the bus. Deaf in one ear for my defiance, years of my life stolen from me.
I can say with complete objectivity, having watched Trump since he was in his 20s; this guy is the toughest SOB I've seen in my life. Some moments I like to think I could endure what he did and arrogantly I think "give me a couple of billion and I could", but when I am honest I can't lie, he's in a class of his own.
I'm sure there are some Canadian operatives who surf these sites. I'm not going to lie and pretend Trump isn't a man that men of courage don't deeply respect. He is a guy who those who faced the fire in a combat zone or whatever their theatre of danger respect. It's why he destroyed Harris in the male vote. Men know courage and we respect it. to a man.
He's an inspiration and that's why men of courage lean to him, be it Rubio or old school CIA, I guarantee they respect him.
