My right to travel (as long as I am not doing commercial business) does not require a license nor does it require me to register my vehicle. Look up what "register" means in Black's Law dictionary. I am not required to show my ID or even give my name unless I am being detained lawfully for being suspected of violating one of their acts, statutes or codes because this corporate "gubermint" cannot pass laws because it is a corporate entity bound by the Universal Commercial Code. If you do not understand your rights instead of "privileges"...you are going to get railroaded every time. We are not under Common Law, we are under admiralty law which conforms with the UCC. I know how to get out of paying traffic tickets and I know how to tell the cops to "go pound sand" when they have attempted to harass me for simply going about my business. I have made it my business to know the things I do and the people that had their rights violated will make the corporate entities that hired these thugs will pay through the nose.

When you are traveling on the public roads in your horseless carriage, you are there at the pleasure of the public. If you had a right to travel the roads the state would NOT have the ability to force you to get a license and insurance. So since you are traveling on public roads, you have to get a license and you have to show it when asked.

If you dont like that, then dont drive. Take a bus. Walk.

Most states now, as I understand it, have as part of the fine print in getting your license an agreement by you to allow them to pull you over and search your vehicle. You agree to that by simply taking the license. That is the law in Virginia and likely most states, an implied agreement to let them search you and your vehicle on public roads long before the cops ever turn on their lights.

Yes. Society has an interest in setting up quarantine checkpoints to avoid pest infestations from one are of the country to another. We need secure.borders and need to know who is coming into our country, including returning Americans. That's why a border cop asks if you're an American citizen.
