Is your friend white? What and where is an "all white area" in the US? Inquiring minds would like to know.

If a white stranger was in a white neighborhood it wouldn't be unusual for someone to ask if they were visiting someone.

Good point. I live in a rural area and there was a white guy walking down our dirt road with a camera. I stopped him and asked him who he was looking for as I had seen him two or three times over a couple weeks in the same area. Our area has nothing that is particularly photo worthy. Turned out he was visiting his parents a mile or so down the road.
