And despite the discrimination laws racism remained rampant. DEI combatted that in a small way , giving candidates of equal training and ability a chance at the same job. Not needed , I live in Nebraska , a republican state , that mostly lives by the rule of live and let live. After the severe spring storms a very nice Guatemalan roofing crew took care of my home. Working fast and diligently in.the 100 degrees heat . They finished the job in the dark after working nonstop for 11 hours. You would love them if you met them. Nebraska can't get enough good workers. Always looking for more and no one asks questions. That's one reason our economy is booming. Unfortunately they're republicans cans and they're still hung up on the transgender thing . Nobody's perfect. And those who think they are are the sickest bastards of all. trump is tolerated here but guardedly. If you're not working here it's because you don't want to work. Still need more workers of all kinds. You are welcome to.move in but like we the bad attitude first.

Racism wasn’t rampant, in fact it had mostly died out in the white population. Color had disappeared as a major criteria for most people and those who it mattered to were ostracized. DEI wasn’t intended to level the playing field, there were already many laws for that. DEI wasn’t intended to intended to tilt the playing field in illegal ways. AI is a joke, it operates on how it was programmed and has already been used by media companies to slant search results.

Very unlikely. That was NEVER the case in.the past. If we go that way again because of the bullshit then we know it was wrong to begin with. And no doubt there will be a tendency to shift that way.
