What does "not cooperating" mean? Are police officers not trained in how to deal with people? Could they not talk to this person.

I mean, the police literally need to have a reason to stop someone in the first place. What was that reason? "You look like an immigrant"????

Maybe the problems started way before they stopped this guy and he was pissed that they stopped him because they think they can do whatever they want in "a free society".

I have been stopped because I fit the profile of a potential drug dealer, that is, a white guy driving through a predominantly black neighborhood very late at night. Car searched..the whole nine yards. The cops told me why they stopped me. I wasn’t upset because I understood where they were coming from. I also didn’t resist or raise a big ruckus. If I had, I could have been arrested.

If you have ever watched a cop show of any sort you will notice that the first characteristics they note when describing a suspect is race and gender. “The suspect is a white male about 6 foot tall wearing a blue hoodie last seen at the corner of 5th and Main.” Well, guess what, we have a lot of people suspected of being illegal that fit the description of Hispanic. That isn’t racist, any more than using a guy’s race in the description of the person who was seen trespassing on someone’s property.

And do you think the police went "we have a report of an illegal immigrant fitting your description"?

Doubtful. They just saw him and stopped him without a real cause. That's part of the problem.

The man, almost certainly a US citizen, was stopped. Had his window smashed in even though he wasn't trying to run away, had ID that proved he was a US citizen, dragged out of the car, driven for 10 minutes before these [I'm not allowed to insult people in the OP, just imagine it instead] police decided to check his documentation and let him go.

That's what freedom looks like in Trump's America. The US is more free than any other country because.... even in China they wouldn't do this.
