When reading the posts by those who profess to practice a faith it appears they are so ,nominally religious in what they say and how they react to others that question teachings of "their" religion. Now seeing the abundant posting about 'kirk and all of the so-called "christian" values he purportedly showed and talked about, it is beyond real.
This "modern day christian hero" was a true nominally religious zealot. Here are the thoughts from him and his ideology that seems to not fit the teachings supposedly written in the book.
In his rhetoric and so-called debate style this 31-year-old evangelical firebrand of the right has stated that Black pilots were incompetent; gays should be stoned; ironically, he was opposed to gun control, abortion, LGBTQ rights; criticized the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Martin Luther King Jr.; promoted Christian nationalism; advanced COVID-19 misinformation; made false claims of electoral fraud in 2020; and was a proponent of the Great Replacement conspiracy theory.
Food for thought!
