Yeah, they were. You honestly think they don't know what the cartels and coyotes are like? You really believe they mistook these vicious criminals for the Red Cross?
.

Do you think we should allow eight year old kids to get a driver's license because they should know by then that it a bad idea to play bumper cars of the Interstate?
I just trying to make the simple point that it can be a bit more complex than it looks when you have the luxury of the alternative.

Are you actually trying to misinterpret what I said to pretend that the 8-year-olds are the ones making the decision to sneak across the border, and to put themselves under the protection of the cartels and the coyotes? Am I actually supposed to dignify this post as something serious worthy of response?

You missed the point ... The age of the kids in the analogy, has absolutely nothing to do with age of the kids crossing the border.
I certainly don't expect you to dignify something you don't understand, and I wouldn't have minded one bit if you hadn't responded.

You are obviously more than a bit confused ... :auiqs.jpg:

Anyway ... I am going to chalk it up to me being a very poor communicator.
It's a lot easier for me to accept blame, than it is for me to help you understand.

It is all a filthy ass third world welfare scam. They send the little shithead across and then dumbasses like Joe Dufus takes care of the turd and then later reunites the little shit with Mommy, Daddy, Gandma, Grandpa and 14 aunts, uncles and cousins. then the Democrat Party gets19 new voters. It is all part of the plan to turn the US into a Socialist shithole.

If that's the case, it's pretty fricken smart.
You don't need to use tanks, ship, planes and bombs to invade a country, and conquer it.

Just send children ... And our stupid asses will damn near kill each other over it ...

It really simple though ... As long as you keep letting them in, they will keep coming.
It doesn't matter how you feel about what they are doing, or where they are from, because they will keep doing it.
If anyone is seriously upset about any of it, then you need to make the hard choices necessary to stop it.

The stupid Libtards in this country are just as responsible for that kid as the assholes parent that sent him.

Trump had pretty well stopped that shit but the minute Joe Dufus stole the election it started up again.

Joe Dufus said that if he was allowed to steal the election he would have open borders and undo all the good things that Trump did so why are any of the asshole Moon Bats that voted for the sonofabitch and then ignored the fact he stole the election concerned about the kid? They are responsible.

Only an idiot would have voted for Dufus and then be in denial about him stealing the election.

Whenever you have an actual defense of your words, you WILL let me know, won't you?

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the Progressives to ever get over Former President Trump.

That aside, and regardless of political affiliation, there isn't but one way to stop what is going on.
We have to give them a reason not to come, and remove the reward.
Shut the door, catch as many as we can, and send everyone we catch back to where they come from.

We can work on things that address our other concerns about comprehensive immigration policies once we stop the constant flow.
As long as everything is fluid and we are trying to manage what is arriving, while addressing the desire to mitigate the risk in getting here ...
We may as well be pissing in the wind ...

Hm. Reasonable.

But these parents should be willing to make high sacrifices for their children, including but not limited to their own well-being. They are gambling the lives of their children on a very slim chance they will ever get to see them again.

A real family suffers together as a family.

Nothing is worse than going through extreme danger alone and with no support.
.

These parents are sending their children to a place that promises to take care of them if they make it.
I don't know so much about Guatemala, but the kids in Juarez, Mexico transverse extreme danger walking to corner grocery store.

You cannot measure what those parents are thinking by your standards.

.
Who makes it that dangerous? The people that live there. The child in Juarez is in danger because the dad of some other kid is in a rival gang. The dad of the kid trying to get to the store has some other kid in his gunsights.

Cheryl Green was an ordinary black girl living in Carson, California. She committed the unpardonable sin of crossing the street to go to a corner store. She went down in a hail of bullets. She entered the territory of the local Mexican gang. That is what we are bringing here.

What part of "I'm a very poor communicator" did you not understand.

That's your problem, and it seems you would prefer that to be my problem instead.
It's the fact you will try so hard to argue with me, that nothing I post will ever get through your stubborn attitude.
If it is that important for you to hear ... It really isn't going to hurt me to say it.

Whatever it is I posted that may have offended your incredibly astute sensibilities is utterly indefensible.

Sorry ... But that's just the best I can do for you.
Have A Lovely Day.

You are absolutely correct.
And ... The contractor that recently put a new roof on my house used 6 illegal Hispanic immigrants.

They tore off the roof, replaced the felt and shingles, finished the ridges and valleys,
installed the drip edge , cleaned up the yard until it was spotless, policed up their gear, and were gone in 8 hours ... And it isn't a small house.

That's what we are bringing here as well.
When you find someone that serious about stopping all this mess, pop in and let me know.

Until then ... When I go dove hunting near Juarez, there's a Mexican that prefers to be called Elvis, that can damn sure clean the crap out of a pile of doves ...

This makes my blood boil.

What kind of parent sends their poor child thousands of miles alone across treacherous territory to cross our border illegally?

A parent who wants a better life for their child? No. That's a big fat lie. Parents should be with their children through thick and thin, danger and safety, but the parents of this little one aren't.
texas-migrant-girl-01.jpg

What these parents have done to these unaccompanied minors is beyond inhumane.

So anyone saying "they want a better life for their child" can promptly screw off. Sorry. I will always have a soft spot for children, no matter who they are or where they come from.

Don't try to justify this behavior. Don't give me any excuses about "well the parents are helping their children flee from violence"--- if that were true, they would be fleeing with them. I see no love in these actions. None whatsoever.
It is inhumane. But it reflects a choice. That choice being, the parents find it more inhumane NOT to do it. Try to imagine that.
The parent isn't concerned with humanity but cartel money. They can always pop out another baby. They sell their children to the cartels so that paying customers can have an instant family.

Neither are all, or even most, of them living lives worse than being gang-raped for weeks on end, watching other kids having their throats slit for making noise at the wrong time and knowing they could be next, and being abandoned in the middle of the desert to die if they can't keep up. And then, if they make it into the US, being held for ransom against their families back home sending more money, or being sold into child prostitution, as happens to many of them.

And Templar has a point. Why are their parents abandoning them to the very people you're telling us they're afraid of? Why are they sending them alone, instead of coming with them to try to protect them?
.

Of course they aren't living lives worse than what could happen to them on the trip.

Likewise ... The nefarious people selling them the opportunity aren't telling them they will be gang raped or have their throats slit either.
A lot of these folks don't wake up in the morning watching CNN over a cup of coffee, and get the latest news from America.

Good grief people ... They aren't reading what you are posting here.
They don't know what you know.

Have any of you been to a shitty third world country?
They wouldn't be leaving where they are at if they had access to everything you have or know here.
The entire world does not exist in a vacuum where everyone knows what you know and has access to the same knowledge you have sitting on your couch.

I know it is inconceivable to a lot of you, but your missing the point.
Some of these people can't write their fucking name, and for some stupid reason you think they are going to think like you do.
I mean you seriously don't know how lucky you are and what you should be thankful for.

.
You make some good points. I spent 2 years in Africa with the Peace Corp over 50 years ago.

By law, HHS has custody and must provide care for each and every unaccompanied child that arrives in the US. That means, food, shelter, healthcare, and education. Both the cost and the overall impact on the US is significant. Nearly half of all migrant children arriving at the US southern boarder come from one country, Guatemala. Over 70% of the unaccompanied children's original home was in Guatemala, Honduras, or El Salvador. Also these countries are a major source drugs coming into the US. IMHO, the solution to both the migration and drugs from these countries does not lie in the US but in these countries. I don't know the solution but whatever it is we can well afford it considering the size of the problem. The total GDP of these 3 countries is just a bit more than the GDP of the state of Mississippi. All three countries would fit in state of Idaho. The US total foreign aid for these three countries is less than a tenth of what we spend in Nigeria and only 2.5% of what we spend in Israel.

By no means I'm I trying to justify what these parent's do. However, I suspect the culture of theses people is to let their children fend for themselves much more than American children do. Just over 100 years ago, American children would be expect to do farm jobs that we would consider to dangerous for children to do today, and the children would often not be under the supervision of an adult.
We don't need those children in the U.S. They are raised in a different culture where children are exploited by our standards but is perfectly acceptable in South America. They should be sent home where they belong. It ain't one world folks.

You are 100% correct. This is is the tragic consequence of the Democrats insane "Open Border Policy". It encourages desperate parents to do the unthinkable: Hand their kids over to smugglers who care less about them than a ham sandwich. It is absolutely unthinkable, but they do it. I feel so bad for those kids, and some of them end up dying in the desert or in the hands of the sex trade.

Most of these kids are bred for this. They are fodder for pimps, pushers, rapists, psychopaths, drug cartel, murderers, etc..... They are purchased and used as leeway for these lunatics from the other side of the border to get a foothold into this country. They KNOW they will get separated and they depend on that, in order to dump the kid and go off on their own.

There are "baby factories" all over South America where women get paid a lot of money to breed babies for this purpose and many other purposes - child slavery, child workhouses, child whorehouses, child drug mules, etc....

These disgusting pieces of human garbage will buy a kid, drag them up here with them, and use them as an entrance visa. Once the adult is separated from the child, then the kid is on their own.

This is why I am specifically against illegals, why I despise them!

The government knows this, and they refuse to acknowledge it.

All of these pieces of sh*t invading our country need to be shot on site. If you aren't going to come here legally, ethically, and honestly......then you don't belong here, nobody wants you here, and there's no reason for you to be left alive.

Take the kids, put them into the military, so they can go to school, learn English, learn about America, and serve in the military when of age. It's so much better than cramming them into camps and corrupt foster homes, where they don't learn anything and are used for purposes of being "welfare babies" by the foster homes and orphanages.
