Russia on Saturday said its troops could target supplies of Western weapons in Ukraine, where the Russian army has been advancing since late February.

"We warned the United States that the orchestrated pumping of weapons from a number of countries is not just a dangerous move, it is a move that turns these convoys into legitimate targets," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told state television.

He said Moscow had warned "about the consequences of the thoughtless transfer to Ukraine of weapons like man-portable air defence systems, anti-tank missile systems and so on."
Ryabkov said Washington had not taken Moscow's warnings seriously and added that Russia and the US were not holding any "negotiation processes" on Ukraine.

There's your seasoned leader with experience dealing with Putin. We are not in any "negotiation process" and they are saying we are not taking their warnings seriously. Putin has shown that his warning need to be taken seriously. He's going to attack any supply of weapons to the Ukraine and then the decisions get extremely serious. These morons are asleep at the wheel while things devolve into WWIII.

If they are targeting other weapons, why not go ahead and fly in the jets Poland donated?

Joey Xi Bai Dung's inconsistent and incompetent decisions are the crux of the problem.
Had he shown decisive and logical moves for the past year Putin and China would have been more careful in any moves they've made especially after Bai Dung's Afghanistan clusterfuck.

Pooty wants to keep digging his hole

Bring it.

If Putin wants to start something with the US, tell him to stop pussyfooting around, so we can reduce Russia to a pile of rubble instead of a pile of worthless rubles.

The good news, imo, is that Putin will never successfully order a nuclear attack. His own military would thwart such an order. Not everyone in Russia is crazy.

Do you assume, as Biden's handlers apparently do, that Putin will just sit back and let his troops be endlessly savaged without taking the fight to the suppliers of these weapons? Nuclear poker isn't a game we've played since 1945 and if Putin pushes his stack of chips in, what do WE do in answer?

I saw on a map earlier today where the Russians conducted a couple airstrikes in the northwest and southwest parts of Ukraine. I would guess that they were going after some of the shipments coming in from Poland but with all those Stinger and Javelin missiles coming in from the west, I would guess that west-central Ukraine is pretty much a kill zone for Russian aircraft.

After what we've seen from his military, I now doubt he has the capability.
It won't be long now before very serious demonstrations by Russian citizens will begin once they realize that thousands of Russian soldiers have met an ignominious death in Ukraine for no good purpose. Ukraine is fast becoming Afghanistan all over again.

What impact did protests against Iraq and Afghanistan have here? Absolutely none. The best hope for Russia and Ukraine is for an assassin's bullet to reach Putin's head.

Well to be honest since all western coverage is completely one-sided you nor I really know.

Invading a country the size of Texas is no small undertaking and given the plodding way the Russians/Soviets have always conducted operations (and yes, with no small amount of ineptitude) I expected it to take months.

Look at it this way, and try to forget the moral differences.

If the US was invading a newly formed Republic of Texas to bring it back into the Union and arms were coming from Mexico into Texas to prolong the conflict would you not expect the US to hit those shipments destined to rearm Texans to enable them kill Americans?
