Last night's promo for next Thursday's game and they couldn't get a good player to show.

The Pats had HOF defensive players and solid coaching in the 2000’s.. they routinely had a top 3 defense or top defense.

Early Patriots super bowls in the Brady era saw Brady play game manager as Belichik schemes and great defense carried the pats. There was even one entire playoffs by the Pats, which they won the Super Bowl, where Brady didn’t throw a single TD pass.

Brady developed into a stud QB, but don’t let people say that he was responsible for the 3 early Super Bowls. He played very well at times, but was largely an above average QB who game-managed and relied on historic coaching and defense to win

Agree 100%. Brady doesn't have 7 SB's if he's drafted by the Browns in 2000. He may have never won 1.

In those early Superbowls, Brady was considered an average QB.
If not for the Tuck Rule saving his fumble in an early playoff against the Raiders, he may have dropped into obscurity

Patriots had an incredible run of luck in many of those Super Bowls, they could have lost all of them, they are a dynasty that repeatedly clinched their wins on the foot of Vinaterri. They didn't blow anyone out and one of their largest wins was against a Rams team that couldn't score against its defense. Credit Tom Coughlin.

In the end, all that matters is the ring
You don’t luck your way into six rings
They could just as easily have eight

Nobody said entirely luck, but luck + defensive privilege (ask Bradshaw) can lead to many Super Bowls for a QB
