Reminds me of a young 17 year old I once knew who stabbed another girl at school. Fortunately, the girl did not die. But, as soon as it happened, she jumped into a car where her brother was and had witnessed the stabbing. The brother said "Why did you do that?" He said it was like the evil spirit just left her and she was there left holding the bag (knive). She said, "I don't know why. I'm sorry?" Fortunately, because the girl did not die, she was rehabilitated and has gone on to have a good life free from violence. Sounds like when Robinson's father talked with him, the same thing happened.
