THIS in Identity Politics. THIS, is what Repubicans have done for 6 Decades

Racists must do that. Point the finger at ******. I don't know the guy, but the idiot poster is trying to imply that he is the typical "white honky".
I don’t know about typical but this Senator is absolutely a racist

You don’t agree?

His problem is that he said the quiet part out loud

^^^ This comment comes from a hypocrite who tells a Jew who expresses dismay over blantantly antisemitic actions to ā€œstop claiming that everything is antisemitic.ā€
But you do that

It started with The Southern Strategy. It continued with Reagan. Newt Gingrich and the Tea Party extended it. Now we have MAGA. It has been a white identity movement. They have played identity politics then whined when non whites and Democratic liberal whites called them on it. They have played the victim so effectively that so-called liberals such as Bill Maher started repeating their claims. But Eric Schmitt is a Republican. Why is it that it is always a Republican who makes these kinds of comments? I know the answer. It is obvious.

A Senator Just Unapologetically Declared the U.S. a White Homeland

America, he says, isn’t an idea—and isn’t for everyone.

On Nov. 19, 1863, Abraham Lincoln delivered one of the greatest speeches in American history, the Gettysburg Address. It opened ā€œFour score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth, on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.ā€

On Tuesday, Eric Schmitt, the junior senator from Missouri, declared that Lincoln was wrong.

ā€œWhat is an American?ā€ This was the question Schmitt posed at the fifth annual National Conservatism Conference in Washington. His answer is that the nation is fundamentally not based on the idea of equality or freedom or any other ideal. Nor is it accessible to people of all races and religions. It is fundamentally, he told an assembled crowd, a white homeland.

The white Europeans who settled America and conquered the West ā€œbelieved they were forging a nation—a homeland for themselves and their descendants,ā€ he said. ā€œThey fought, they bled, they struggled, they died for us. They built this country for us. America, in all its glory, is their gift to us, handed down across the generations. It belongs to us. It’s our birthright, our heritage, our destiny. If America is everything and everyone, then it is nothing and no one at all. But we know that’s not true. America is not a ā€˜universal nation.ā€™ā€

The implications of this vision are serious. This is a repudiation of our Constitution and the core of a national identity that includes all its citizens. It means that to be American is not about citizenship at all. ā€œWhat is an American?ā€ Schmitt asked. It is a white person. America is a white homeland that organically binds together white people of the past, present and future. And its policies must be guided for their benefit if they are to succeed.

Unfortunately for you, whites did form this country. Nothing racist about that, just a fact.

But you have no connection to reality.

Schmitt never used the word "white" in what he said, minor detail.

That being said, Schmitt is another Republican who needs to be reminded that

1. the US is a country with FREEDOM OF RELIGION including FREEDOM FROM RELIGION
2. those who claim that either the GOP or the US is "Christian" are not conservative, not patriotic to America, and flat out wrong
3. the GOP really needs to "house clean" these religious imbeciles, they are an EMBARRASSMENT

There is nothing conservative about religion. The Christian religion was founded as essentially religious communism, with no freedom at all, no freedom to do anything except what the religious fraud in charge told you, and you could not vote him out.

The more the GOP tolerates those who claim either US or GOP is "Christian," the more votes it will lose from those with IQ over 5....

The OP shows a Republican who has stated that America was built by whites and it's only for whites. Republicans are glad to accept anyone who will advance that agenda. Do not try plausible deniability with me.
You stupid prick, when I listen to Bobby Keys playing sax on the Rolling Stones Can't you Hear me Knocking, I don't say, darn...that black dude can play sax. That's your first thought.

No, I think to myself damn, that man can play SAX! His coloring doesn't matter. His talent does.

Which?

___ not a 64-year old black man
___ not ā€œowning the consā€
Neither. Too stupid and simple minded to own anyone. Nobody with that much self loathing and hate would live till 64.

1. The Southern Strategy is a conspiracy theory and not a very good one. Long since debunked garbage.

2. Reagan did nothing with regards to "white identity", he was about reganomics and winning the cold war. He supported the status quo of Affirmative Action and Civil RIghts, ie discriminating in FAVOR OF BLACKS.

3. Newt did nothing with regards to "White identity". He was about the Contract with America.

4. The Tea Party, was about taxes, not race.

5. MAGA, is finally, FINALLY, pushing back some on anti-white discrimination of Affrimative Action and "CIVIL RIGHTS".
↑↑↑↑↑↑↑Not one. single. fact given folks.

It's the Republican way!

It’s definitely not that.
It is exactly that. You morons want to believe something that's not true because the racism is so embedded in your being tht it has you delusionally thinking that blacks actually agree with the way you see things.

Do you find it odd that you quoted him and at no point did you quote him saying what you claimed he said?

Which highlights your entire post is nothing but projection. What I have come to expect from a white guy pretending to be black on the internet

No more than any average black who talks about white privilege or plays the victim and race card, or Obama, Hakeem, AOC, Joy Reid, etc.

Of course you don't. I own you.

You start out in 1954 by saying, ā€œ******, ******, ******.ā€ By 1968 you can’t say ā€œ******ā€ā€”that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states’ rights, and all that stuff, and you’re getting so abstract. Now, you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites.… ā€œWe want to cut this,ā€ is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than ā€œ******, ******.ā€

Lee Atwater
Back in the day, teams ran the single wing and wing-t offenses. For a while those offenses were nearly unstoppable. But eventually defenses caught up. But the thing about white racism is that it has always used the same playbook. Back when blacks got beaten and killed for learning how to read, the white racist could use the playbook and get away with it. When black folks were getting second-hand educational materials during Jim Crow like books with missing pages, or obsolete textbooks that whites threw away, the white racist could use the playbook. But in 2025, it's time for the white racist to create a new playbook because you can't run the single wing anymore bitches.
