Compared to who? Jewish history wouldn't leave Jews looking like the helpless innocent lambs you think it would. A lot of ethnic groups have been treated a lot worse, as in totally exterminated, around the world over the millennia, so don't get carried away. Much of the OT and NT themselves are about Jews Behaving Badly. Other sects have done far worse than the Evil Xians have throughout history, even the allegedly 'pacifist' Buddhists. The differences are Jewish sects have strong tendencies for self-examination and reforms.

Having said that, it is indeed a dangerous time for Jews, no doubts about it, and we see that in many places, not just in the US. An unarmed Jew is a fool these days, and I could say the same for Christian sects as well. They are part and parcel the same thing from the same sources, whether or not some in either group like it.

As for the Christian sects in Lebanon, they were never allies with the Israelis, and have been pretty much indistinguishable form other Arab cretins, so there is that. They will reap what they sow same as the rest of the world will.

Says who? Certainly not a lot of Jewish historians. They did a lot of their own victimizing over the centuries, so they aren't blameless. I have no 'excuses', just historical records and facts. I don't much care if they make anybody happy or not. They have little to do with modern ME history, in any case.
