People are allowed to change their minds. So, I have no major quarrel with Crusader Frank’s turnabout. I disagree with him. But that’s also ok.

If one denies that Iran was seeking (very hard and altogether too fast) to develop nuclear weaponry, then anybody who voted for Trump (in part) on his campaign claims about seeking to avoid war will probably conclude that Trump flip flopped.

If one (such as me) accepts that the insane Iranian Islamofasicsts were seeking (too hard and too fast) to develop nuclear weapons, then the use of our military against that regime makes perfect sense.

I’m curious as to which other campaign claims made by them candidate Trump he hasn’t worked on accomplishing.

To keep these posts reasonably brief, I hope we can discuss those “other things” one at a time.

Let’s consider what we already know. (I exclude the left wing Trump haters since they tend not to be honest about such things.)

1. Iran was indeed enriching Uranium to 60%.
2. There is absolutely no reason for that high level of enrichment OTHER than to enrich it to 90%. And the sole reason for that is — yep — nuclear weapons.
3. 60% uranium enrichment can become 90% in only 7 to 10 days.

Now, it is true that this does NOT mean that the Iranian regime was going to do so. I acknowledge that.

However, under all the circumstances (“death to America,” “death to Israel” and what those evil bastards were doing to their own people) what would justify taking the risk? I maintain that it would have been quite irresponsible of President Trump to simply take that risk.
