thinking of France, what comes to your mind?

I drink box wine
Nuthin better
Some box wines are good. Not great, but if it's in your budget and you like it who's to tell you otherwise?

I used to get white grenache in boxes all the time. 3&5 litre boxes. Great stuff....better than white zinfandel. But it's gone out of favor....don't see it in the stores anymore.

Good enough for me.
A bottle of wine costing hundreds of dollars is wasted on me. I like the box because if I want one glass, I can get it. If I want to serve five people, I have enough

I like a good Bourbon for sipping but try to stay under $60. I have had expensive Bourbons but I do not taste them as considerably better.

The way France has allowed itself to be destroyed by islam.

I always wanted one of those.
Deck chair seats !!

In 6th form, depending on when you were born, some had already past their driving test. A pupil pulled over in a 2CV and asked if I wanted a lift to school cos it was raining, I chuckled at the car. He said, "You can either get in or walk in the rain". From that day on, I learnt any car gets you from A to B (but they're still a funny car). I've never bothered with flashy cars, that 2CV day quashed my future car vanity.

The architecture and regional dishes like tarte flambée and choucroute really set it apart. It’s interesting how regions like Alsace reflect the diversity within France overall. I was just reading through some recent tourism stats here: Tourism In France Statistics 2025: The Ultimate Guide, and it’s no surprise places with strong local identity like that draw so much interest.
