Lincoln made that offer, but it wasn't mandatory, plus, it was pointed out that after that costly war, the funds weren't there to pay for all blacks to leave. Blacks that wanted to stay, were allowed.

Lincoln wanted to do no such thing. BEFORE the war, he and a lot of other abolitionists considered the American Colonization Movement, but it was quickly rejected.

The problem was that the GOP stopped trying to do anything nice for blacks after 1876, when his Fraudelency, Rutherford B. Hayes decided to sell them out for an election he lost.

Byrd renounced his KKK ties. One of the longest serving Republicans was Strom Thurmond who was a Dixiecrat. Those white supremacists were Democrats in the 50s and are now Republicans today. Republicans are appeasing them.

2- Our current president is a corrupt racist with a history of creating segregationist bills and calling schools with too many Blacks in them "jungles". His own Vice President called him a racist to his face in one of the debates. This should definitely be included in the CRT curriculum:
