The attempt to demonize President Trump to the Jews is one of the most transparent canards every attempted in American politics.
After eight years out public disdain for Israel from the White House, a White House that is openly supportive of Israel poses an actual threat to Democrats who believe they have, and will always have, a lock on the 'Jewish Vote'.
Democrat's increasingly hostile attitude towards the Jewish State has made real erosion into what has previously been seen as a monolithic support of Democrats by American Jews.
To counter that threat, they've tried to paint President Trump as an anti-Semite, or failing that, that his supporters are largely antisemitic. But, the real truth is, as the Democrats become more openly antagonistic to Israel, support for conservatives who support Israel will continue to increase.
Many Democrats comfort themselves with exit polls saying this percentage or that percentage of American Jews are die-hard Democrats and, for historical reasons, a large percentage of American Jews will always support the Democrats.
However, one of the things they fail to take into consideration is that exit polls don't paint an accurate picture of the political makeup of the Jewish community, which is much more diverse than many non-Jews would believe. Even today, it's still considered a stigma in some parts of the Jewish Community to openly support Republican candidates. I myself will keep my conservative, political opinions to myself when speaking to certain people in the Jewish community.
