They need to end the “Tush Push”

That might be a rule I could live with.

Makes me think about blocking extra points and field goals. A defensive player can't run and use his teammates back to jump up high to block the kick. At least I don't believe they can do that.

That wouldn't bother me if they said you can't push your own player forward. If you do that, the ball is down where you started pushing.
No-should be 15 yards or 5 and loss of down.

I watch Six Nation Rugby, and their scrums are far more violent than a Tush Push, imo.

6ft 4 268 pound Fullback who runs a consistent 4.6 40 and can catch like a slot receiver to run the ball as an Up back or tailback

I'm big, but not huge, weighed 275 in high school. Peaked at about 295.

Nowadays I have a lot lower number. My doctor got a metric scale and now I am a svelte 125 and feeling great.
125? lol

How many times did one of your fingers get smashed in between two helmets? It happened once to me I refused to play Defensive line. I was too short to be a linebacker. I would have been a great nose tackle but **** that bullshit.

How big are you? You must be a mountain of a man.
I was on the Golf team

I've only glanced at rugby, but wondered how they avoid really bad head injuries. Or maybe they don't.

No need to hide. Apparently sealybobo dreams about getting f’d in the ass. Whatever dude. Not for me.
I was just kidding Fang!

You remind me of Lucius Maximus. He wanted the gladiators to fight with these

I've heard the worst sport for giving kids head injuries is soccer. They should ban hitting the ball with your head.
I agree that the head strike must endanger the player and always increases chance of CTE later on.

While football is the number one sport that sees the most concussions, girls' soccer comes in second, with 8.4 concussions per 10,000 games and practices. Research suggests that female athletes have a longer recovery time than their male counterparts and may experience worse symptoms.

The problem with soccer is that they hit the ball with their heads. That can't be good for the cranium.

Time to mandate helmets like are used in football for the game of soccer.

Kids playing the game should wear helmets for the same reason they wear helmets to ride bikes. It just makes sense if you're going to use your head as a tool to launch the ball dozens of yards. It's not a trivial impact.

First off, too many players get injured

Second, it looks stupid and rewards brute force over execution.
Turns Football into Rugby

There already is a rule against this. It's just never enforced. Rule 12, Section 1, Article 4. It’s a ten yard penalty to assist the runner in any manner. Seems like I remember a time when it was enforced.

It was done in a college football game 20 years ago, and it was controversial.

That's what I thought. I couldn't remember what sport it was, but there was a rule you can't push your teammate forward. Maybe it was football. So how do they get away with doing it?

There are a lot of rules that are routinely ignored or very loosely called in all pro sports.
