Shokin's replacement investigated him and charged him with failing to pay taxes. Zlochevsky was fined millions in back taxes.
Again, you have been duped by the MSM. They leave out key facts to change the narrative. It works on those not keen on thinking for themselves or doing any further investigation. Hunter was hired and Shokin was fired with the help of a little prodding by pappa Biden who was the US VP. You and many others fell for the spin and don't use much comment sense. Hunter was hired and paid a lot of money for a reason. It is rather obvious that the reason was to protect Zlochevsky using his father's influence.
Any good journalist would be able to see that the ultimate clearing of Burisma was neither a conspiracy, nor a theory. Rather, it was the culmination of careful planning and networking by Mykola Zlochevsky, Burisma’s owner, to ensure an escape route — even if cornered by the most powerful economies in the world. With the help of former U.S. Department of Justice attorney John Buretta retained as Burisma counsel, Zlochevsky succeeded in getting Burisma cleared in 2017. The “solid-at-the-time” prosecutor, Yuriy Lutsenko, closed the original Ukrainian case involving gas licenses, and instead got the billionaire to pay a tax settlement that was by all accounts “lenient.”
”In mid-January, Burisma Group announced that all cases against its president, Nikolay Zlochevsky, and Burisma companies were fully closed. The former Minister Nikolay Zlochevsky is one of the few public officials from the previous government who voluntarily subjected himself to the investigation in Ukraine.”
