State run lotteries are a tax on the poor.
The state has a vested interest in keeping their monopoly on gambling.

The WWE a few months ago was floating the idea to three states, Michigan, Colorado and Indiana. Sports betting and gambling has gotten out of control. The people who have some extra money lose it while those who can't afford to lose it, lose more. The governments of all sizes need the taxes.

I dont like that either Lenny. The betting firms have our politicians in their grasp.
Despite evidence of the harm caused they do nothing.
Lets be clear. I dont want to ban betting. But I want to prevent the promotion of it.
