There are people who love to point out the worst in any given subject. In this case, much of it is accurate history. But judging those actions based on todays social metrics is no more intelligent than getting your panties in a wad over a handful of extremists.

Yes, it was a different time and natives were hugely exploited.
But those articles are still the extreme minority in this country. I am sure I could find a dozen articles of extremists demonizing almost anything.
But a war on Thanksgiving? Or Xmas? If it is the opposition is failing profoundly. And, if anything, making a big deal of it is what they thrive on.
