I do not feel sorry for Paul Ryan, or any of the leadership of the Republican party. Ted Cruz showed the way, opposing Obama at every turn, but the leadership let him twist alone in the wind, and gave in to Obama's big government agenda. And then when Ted Cruz ran for President, they again let him twist in the wind, refusing to back him against Trump. He was the only candidate who had a chance of beating Trump, but instead of supporting him, they talk about murdering him and they called him Satan. So Cruz, the only real conservative who had a chance to be President, had to bow out to Trump, garnering no support at all from the establishment wing of the Republican party.Speak up for Trump? This party official just can't any more
The Republican Party’s top Hispanic official has resigned seemingly after concluding she could no longer carry out her duties in good conscience with Donald Trump as nominee for president.

Mass exodus of minorities: Donald Trump is running Black and Latino leaders out of the RNC
So is that it? Republicans think they can win with all whites?
They will be forced to just circle the wagons and stop the blood letting at the senatorial and congressional races. Ryan had no choice but to announce support for Trump. If he did not it would have been the end of the RNC. Yes, it seems the republican name brand has been forced to crawl into Trump's camp on it's hands and knees begging forgiveness and leaving behind the pretense of accepting any but white people among it's ranks. This must be humiliating for Ryan especially. I believe Ryan knows that Trump will probably lose his election with that shrill ***** Hillary. Talk about humiliation. Do you think Ryan HATES The Donald with a white hot passion?
So now they have Trump, and they deserve him. He will wreck the Republican Party and then Ted Cruz will have to pick up the pieces and rebuild the party in 2020. Hopefully by then, Republicans will have learned their lesson.
