I have my funds in a few different accounts and investments but most is in a high yield savings account... I was self employed after my discharge.... so I do not have a 401K....

The thing that you totally fail to recognize and that will cause the death of OUR country is that under "senile" Biden, his cabined was there to lead him in the right direction if he did something wrong. Biden did not have an ego to support, and as such he listened to others. When I say others, I do not mean ONE person but many and even though some of them might have their OWN personal agenda and lie, it is impossible to get 30 people around you to agree on one man's agenda and lie (under a Democratic government). This means that there were some controls on lying and on conning people. In addition, and more importantly, if you disagreed, you had the right to disagree, and nothing would happen to you.
With Trump, it is he and he alone that calls the shots. He listens to no one. He chose his cabinet specifically for blind loyalty to him. Their motto is "whatever you say, my lord!" and that means the lying and the conning is TOTAL. There are absolutely no guardrails there. Trump can tell you that your neighbor is going to eat your pets and he is going to pedophile your kids and everyone (including you) have to believe him because no one is going to say "that is bullshit" (they would get fired and face the wrath of everyone). Here and under Trump, if you disagree, you have no right to do so, and they will come after you.
That is the difference, and it is a huge difference.

The US made a stunning recovery coming out of the pandemic. Stability and confidence in our economy is what powers the market. Constant and consistent forecasts of economic growth, jobs, etc. helps to insure the market keeps going up. People aren't going to invest their savings when there's any sense of instability politically or economically. That's why the Dow continues to plunge every time Trump says or does something stupid, which is often.

How did they ruin the country? The economy is good, inflation is down, people have health care, they have help from the government when they need it, they have freedom, etc.

and so far, there is more inflation, less health care, less protection, more unemployment and everything in disarray. At least right now.
So how are we better off now. Explain how Biden ruined the country.
