Recycling is one of them. I'll tip my hat to the Euros for their efficient recycling system. America could do far worse than immitation in this case.

Recycling put extra needed pocket cash for me back in the 60s,70s, 80s. Aluminum ,copper from construction trash, soda, beer cans picked up here and there kept me in gas money and date money many a year. It is a good way to collect money fora charity. :) 👍

An opinion on enviromentalist and pro hunting, fishing groups. You have a lot in common when it comes to Conserving natural, wilderness land and water and if you come togather maybe a lot will get done on these issues.:soapbox:

I always had a jingle in my pocket by picking-up pop bottles for the deposit.

Other than pasteboard that's the extent of my recycling effort.

Hell, I'd not even do pasteboard if I had to break the boxes down. ;)
So you are a lazy *****. LOL

Hunters and fishermen have always been at the forefront of conservation efforts. They are the first to see the effects of degradation in our forests, grasslands, and waterways.

Actor Harrison Ford demonstrates how being a millionaire allows one to focus their wealth in ways more efficient and useful than if taken away by taxes to be wasted by guv'mint. Back int he 1980s he donated half of the land of the huge ranch he bought near Jackson Hole, Wyoming to help start a Conservation Land Trust back when the concept was relatively new.

Money/wealth is a tool and often the private sector does better investment of such a resources than the guv'mint.

I liked how the people are tasked with dutifully sorting their green, brown and white glass, except that they all just get dumped into a gigantic pile at the glassworks factory.
Where I live, all recycle gets put into one bin, the refuse company then dumps into a single pile where some may get sorted out, rest goes to landfill anyway.

Companies don’t recycle because there’s too much product to hold. They can’t recycle fast enough
