While wars rage overseas, the world is accustomed to looking to America as a stabilizing influence. Here's what the world got instead:



How absolutely humiliating. How does America recover from this? And what world leader can step up and provide stability and credibility at this critical time? America's President is clearly in over his head and impotent.

Donald Trump should apologize to the brave & brilliant men and women of our military for this farce of a birthday party.

The free world is rudderless today and for the foreseeable future.

But, the GOP is moving forward and so is Trump.

Your OP included a link to video about "squeaky tanks" out of many others you could have used.
That implied your post was about the quality of the parade participants rather than another topic.
You should redo English Comp. so you learn how to more accurately and better express yourself.

Hitler was not a world leader. The world didnt have a leader in the 1930s who stood up to Hitler. There would never have been WWII if the rest of Europe had stopped Hilter from annexing Austria.

Hitler annexed Austria on the grounds that the Austrian spoke German, and were the same people. The world didn’t want another war after World War I, and they were in the depths of the Great Depression. Sound familiar?

His arguments were quite reasonable, and they let him do it. Chamberlain assured the world that Hitler would not seek further expansion. Then Hitler invade Poland.

The parallels between the Appeasement of Hitler and Trump’s willingness to give in to Putin, cannot be ignored. Putin has proven that he has no intention of stopping, and even Trump seems to be starting to realize.

But Trump is stubborn and stupid and I wouldn’t count on him actually coming to the realization that Putin is playing him.

The message was in the sentences following the Hitler example.

Hitler wanted to be the Leader of the World, but didn't make it so.
However he wasn't the first, nor the last.
Napoleon is another rather recent, past example to consider.

In our current times we have a few candidates for "One Ruler/Leader of the World".

Islamic Jihad has been trying for that for over a thousand years. The highest Calif, ruling all the world under Sharia Law.

Xi Jinping is working to make him and CCP China fill that job description. Bumping the USA down a notch or two.

Putin also wouldn't mind being top dog over the World.

But the real questions remain.

Why does the World need a single ruler over all of us ?

Why do some think we (the whole of humanity) need a single ruler ?

Why would some want a single ruler of the World ?

What ideology is that single ruler to support ?

How will the single leader/ruler of the planet be chosen ?
How replaced when the time/need comes ?

Except, that in the case of "a strong, dependable, credible and stable America";
1) You on the left want that America and it's Leader to be more socialist/communist than we are at present.
2) You on the Left have for decades wailed and moaned about the evil USA pushing the world around to meet our needs and profits, etc.

BTW, I provided images of several similar parades from many nations and times that weren't dictatorships. Trump supposedly got the inspiration from a French Bastille Day parade.
