The women of Iran are free, and the left is furious about it

Awwwwwwww, you're sad your asshole dictator got killed.

You're sick in the head, bimbo.

You truly are too stupid to be one person. You're incapable of rational thought. "Two wrongs don't make a right" is the most applicable description. Trump is no different than the Ayahtollahs. Both are asshole dictators.

What's Trump's plan for regime change? He doesn't have one. There is no "government in exile" waiting to take over. This is Iraq all over again. You won the war and lost the peace because you had NO PLAN for the country after Saddam has gone.

Wash, rinse and repeat for Afghanistan.

We all know the left hates women.

Now, the women of Iran are free from slavery, and the global left are 100% united in support of the now extinct Islamic theocratic regime of Iran.

As always, the leftists on this board are also 100% behind the Iranian Islamic theocracy, and not a single one of them will celebrate the end of female slavery in Iran.

Actually we should have been furious about the women of Iraq.
And the women of Afghanistan.

Women in Iraq in 2026 continue to face severe challenges regarding gender equality, with the country ranked among the lowest globally for women's rights, marked by high rates of domestic violence, low workforce participation (approx. 14%), and rising child marriage rates. Despite legal quotas and active advocacy, they face systemic inequality, restricted movement, and, as of early 2025, concerning legislative setbacks in personal status laws.

Four years after the Taliban’s return to power in August 2021, the women of Afghanistan are living through what the United Nations has described as the most severe women's rights crisis in the world. The de facto authorities have implemented a systematic "erasure" of women from public life, with waves of restrictions stripping away rights to education, work, and freedom of movement.

A good exchange would be trading leftist hags for Iranian women seeking freedom.

I could get onboard with that. Let the left live under Sharia for awhile, they'll change their tune
America's neo-leftist women, and men, wouldn't survive in any of the muslim nations they love. All the men would be killed for being homosexual, and the woman would have their tongues cut out to keep them from bitching about Trump all day long.

Its hard to fathom the "women should be home raising kids" mindset.

And it scares the hell out of them. All their false narratives keep crashing down exposing them as hateful losers that don't deserve influence in the government.

Yeah, like Mexico will pay for the wall
And the tariffs will balance the budget.

Imagine being free to choose ones path thtu life rather than you should do this or you should do that. Now women there will hsve the freedom to live free from duties their society tells them they have. The freedom women in america enjoy in this aspect has led to our greatness.

Just like how we left Afghanistan.

Women had a more modern way of life under the Shah. Unlike Progressive Socialist Communist Extreme Feminist American women, they will appreciate what they have hopefully in a new government.
.

I remember a great conversation with an Iranian woman in the 90's about how, even then, they hated the Ayatollah. Man, they've waited a long time to do this

They eventually will break through and hopefully feel the freedom american women have. The ability to go against society pressures to pursue ones life according to what one wants. Its led to our greatness.

"I have been singing, screaming, celebrating with my people," Iranian-American journalist says.
CBS Evening News. Feb 28, 2026
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in strikes by the U.S. and Israel on Saturday. CBS News contributor Masih Alinejad, who has survived three plots by Iran's regime to kill or kidnap her, discusses the crippling of the Iranian regime.

..war with Iran and we bring you live pictures of mourners already lining up for the funeral of their supreme leader which will take place on Sunday in Iran. These are pictures from Iranian state television. While there are people mourning, there are also plenty of Iranians celebrating at this hour.
And with us now is CBS News contributor and Iranian-American journalist Masih Alinajad, who has survived not one, not two, but three plots by Iran's regime to kill or kidnap her.
Uh Masi, thank you very much for being here. Uh it sounds like you've lost your voice a little bit. Is that related to today's events?

- I have been singing, shouting, screaming, celebrating with my people inside Iran. I was talking to mothers, Ibrahim Katabdar's mothers, Peshan's mothers, Huya's mother. These are the mothers that they lost their children. And I hear the voices that they are celebrating the killing of the murderer's Ali. So that's why I lost my voice. But don't worry when I need it to come back to me

- I see the celebrations. I can sense the joy in the streets. Is there apprehension about what comes next

- You know, of course, people are worried. But this is the time that my people, Iranians, they are experiencing pain and hope because I'm talking about the regime that massacre more than 40,000 people. But in the street, people are just screaming out of joy because they believe this is going to be the beginning of a future. A future that we don't have killers in power. A future that people can have a normal life.
You know, for many of Americans watching me, maybe this is about a country miles away from America. They say that this is the story of people that we don't maybe know them. But for me, this is my life story. I was put in prison when I was only 19 years old. I was pregnant. This is the regime. Think about it. They have stolen my life. They have stolen my family, my country, everything.
-Are you hearing talk of anyone in particular who might be able from Iranian civil society to step forward, not part of the regime, not part of the revolution, on a whole another track and be the leader that I think people like yourself are looking for in Iran.

- This regime cannot be reformed. So definitely we're not looking Oh my God, I lost my voice

- It's understandable. We're not looking for anyone from this regime and people in the street they're naming Prince [Pahlavi] and he says that he believes in fair and free election.
I believe that we deserve to have a transition from this government to this regime to a secular democracy. I'm not a political leader but I believe that Iranian can have a government by voting having fair and free election. So that's why I'm calling on Europeans. This is the burning wall moment to meet with the opposition to think about ending Iran without Islamic Republic, because this is a regime sending killers in the region in America in Europe everywhere.
So there is only one solution to end the war endless war to end the root cause of the war which is the Islamic Republic.
-But in the Berlin wall moment, the wall came down and the guard stood down. The Iranian revolutionary guard is not standing down. What happens next?
- I think because they don't see strong signal as soon as they see signal from the Europe European leaders, all over the world, you know, Arab leaders, where are they? If there is like, think about it, a political coalition in Iran and outside Iran like the Europeans, Americans, leaders from Arab countries if they get all united having a plan, a strategic plan to see an Iran without Islamic Republic that will send a signal to the revolution guards members to put their guns down. I think we need to see this signal...
-- ... How do you think future generations will look back at this moment?

- Oh my god, I can't I can't talk. I lost my voice. You have to bring me back tomorrow. I need some hot water

-All right, let's get the ladies some hot water. Uh Masih Alinajad, thank you very much for being here. Appreciate it.

- I will invite you to my beautiful country. I want to hug my family. It has been 15 years. That's why I get really upset when I see some anti-war Americans taking to the streets.
My fellow citizens take to the street to celebrate the killing of a terrorist because this is not about politics.
This is all about normal life having dignity for Iranians. We share the same values. You want these terrorists, don't feel sorry for terrorists. Feel sorry for my people inside Iran.
The new generation, they deserve to have democracy.
It breaks my heart when I see Americans in the streets. They chant, "I am Hamas. Hamas is killing Iranians killing people in Gaza. If you care about free Palestine, help us to free Palestine from Islamic Republic. I want to talk to Americans, but I will be I will be back tomorrow."
- All right. Masih Alinajad, thank you very much. I appreciate it. -- Thank you so much. -- We'll be right back.

Liar.

Methinks you don't understand what's going on.

Once again, you don't have a clue.

So once again, you have nothing but insults, and you're projecting you cluelessness onto me.

"Methinks" is laughable. You're not even capable of independent thought. You haven't expressed anything that would indicate that you have any idea what is happening.

Trump attacked Iran on behalf of the Saudis and Isreal. They didn't give billions to the Trump family for nothing.

Trump is repeating Iraq all over again. What's the plan now that the Ayatollah is dead??? When you collapse the government with no plan, it leads to civil war and someone worse appearing. Taking out Saddam without a plan, gave the world ISIS. The Taliban is back in Afghanistan.

Those who do not learn from their mistakes, are condemned to repeat them. Like Trump's 7 bankruptcies.

Trump told the Iranians to rise up and take back their country. Unarmed civilians against the largest, best equipped, most experienced mass military in the Middle East.

The Ayatollah had a succession plan due to his age. Killing him changes NOTHING in terms of the government of Iran. If you weren't so gullible stupid, you'd know that.

Where is the part about the left hating women, in this post, or did you just project YOUR hatred of women into the post????

"We all know, the left hates women" - who is this "We" you speak of , A$$hole? The only people in this forum who hate on women, are YOU and the MAGArats here.

The Ayatollah's death in Iran changes NOTHING. All of the Royal Guard, and the military, who have repressed the Iranian people, and Iranian women in particular, are still alive and functioning as the state enforcers.

Trump has done nothing but kill an old man who had carefully planned for his succession. And now all of the Middle East is exploding into violence again.
It’s clear you side with the regime….Why?

Its hard to fathom the "women should be home raising kids" mindset.

Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, said that professional women “choose a path to misery” when they prioritize careers over having children in a September 2021 podcast interview

“He appeals to evangelicals with the message that we find happiness by fulfilling traditional gender roles, which is a cornerstone of white evangelical Christianity.

“What they share is the view that women shouldn’t be in paid work: they should be in the home and rearing children.

That’s because you deserve nothing but insults. You are a reprehensible human being.
