Because it is used for politicization & balkanization of society, especially for the political, financial, and cultural elites. At that point? All the poor & powerless, regardless of their position in society, regardless of their religion, or the color of their skin, they all suffer.

i.e. esp racism. When anything one's political opponents desire, is re-framed as, "racism," rather than real oppression, when both sides of any issue can be called this, and it is then used as a cudgel to flay one's political enemies? It then begins to lose all meaning.

The term itself? Is, by the left's own definition, "cultural appropriation." But? It is all subjective. According to the whims of whatever the cultural elites have in mind for their agenda of balkanization, and whom they wish to cancel next. Only fools and idiots can't see that this is nearly all just a political scheme of control at this point.
