I’m sensing a bit of anti corporation there…Blair Mountain War is an unheard of American Civil War that both Corporations and our own Government does NOT want to remember. They want to deliberately forget about the machine gun nests, bombing runs, and economic slavery created by the Companies and Sherrifs supported by the US military.
This wasn't ancient history. 1920's....just 100 years ago under President Harding. And was reminiscent along similar economic conditions that brought about the Civil War.
Corporations along side of Government backing oppressing the working class citizens because they could.
I'm all for everyone earning their nickel....but care must be maintained to look out for the working people too. (Even if they become whiney primadonnas who don't produce as they should)
To this day, there are no markers around Blair Mountain or in the Federal Registar because a new strip mining company still wanted at the coal in the hills in West Virginia. (I'm smelling a rat)
