I am heartened by the forward-looking efforts by the UAE. Even Saudi is contemplating a future that is in the modern world. What are your thoughts on the UAE allying with Israel?
I’ve heard some critics of Israel refer to the UAE leader as a Jew.
As a supporter of Israel, do you believe you owe a debt of gratitude to Islam for the fact that there are Muslims like the ones in the UAE who work with Israel. Recently The UAE has been attacked by Iran more times than Iran has attacked Israel.
By the way, I’m all about free speech and would protect your right to criticize Islam. But take people like Rocko Lisa558 Dogmaphobe and plenty others who tell other posters they are Nazis, racist, or obsessed with Jews simply for criticizing the government of Israel. And these are people who are not even criticizing Judaism, but simply the government of Israel. I mean folks like Rocko along with other posters have offered up no dialogue or constructive posting to anyone criticizing Israel. Could you imagine if someone said
“can Judaism be civilized?”
“ the fly in the ointment? Jews.”
What they would say?
I’ll gladly lay out why Islam is civilized to you. Rather than calling you a Nazi or a bigot. Sadly some of your own fellow Israel supporters can’t talk like this. They can offer up no dialogue when it comes to people who criticize Israel. All they have is personal attacks or lazy one liners.
I wonder if people like Rocko would call for people to be silenced, jailed or worse for criticizing Israel. I don’t think people like you should be fired from their job, arrested, etc for your views on Islam.
Palestine is the stated problem for Saudi, but the UAE is not tied to the ideology. It is an unusual state, with on 15% of it's inhabitants Arabs.
Hoping the Iran war moves other GCC states into the Abrahamic circle.
