Well, one of them was a complete disaster, but that was because it was a toxic company. (The people who recommended me for the job also quit within a year.

The other one was quite successful, until they moved all the office jobs to India.

Could a minority meet the same expectations ?

Probably. Frankly, most people of color I've worked with have been good at their jobs. I can only think of one exception, and that was not really because of her lack of qualifications (her resume was quite good, just not as good as mine.)

On the other hand, I've worked with a lot of Nepo-Babies who are absolutely ******* worthless. And you can't really complain about what they do wrong.
