the white privilege rhetoric is racist and anti-historical

White privilege theories are a strange mix of 19th-century racial theories and Marxist oppressor-oppressed dialectics

First of all, there has never been a "white people" nation, civilization or culture. And there are many European peoples that had no colonial empire at all and were not involved in slave trading. If any, some of them have been historically the victims of it.

Secondly, blaming people for the actions of their ancestors is deeply troubling and wrong.

Third, major civilizations through history and around the world have enslaved people. Some northern African civilizations and the Ottoman Empire were massive traders of Sub-saharan African and Slavic European (Czechs, Polish, Ukrainians...) slaves. Mainly because they were poor, poorly defended and had another religion. A centuries-long episode that we prefer not to talk about.

Secular Humanist Marxists failed to defeat Capitalism, so they (Frankfurt School) turned their eyes towards destroying the West's culture via Cultural Marxism's "Critical Theory". Critical Theory is used to attack only the West for sins of the past thus robbing Westerners indoctrinated in the schools of any source of history and national/civilizational pride.

The decline can be seen, since the Left's social revolution got going in earnest in the 1960's.

The creation, use and weaponization of the term is a perfect example of how the Left aggressively alienated enough Americans (including the middle class, which they claim to care about) to usher in Trump.

The fact that there is obviously a degree of truth to it doesn't matter. Neither party wants to learn: It's not about the problem you're trying to address, it's about THE WAY you go about addressing it.

Except none of those people I listed were "smarter", just more privileged.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem, or is your Fake Hebrew to English translator not working?
Prove it

BTW those people you listed were not all white as you suggested

The testimony of 21 witnesses

Joe defers to black people by not reading court transcripts OF TESTIMONY of 23 EYEWITNESSES OF THE METCALF MURDER.

You guys need to make up your minds how many witnesses there were.

Also, not the topic of this thread.

Legacies are not by definition white people

Chidren of staff are not by definition white people

They are certainly more likely to be white people.

Wrong most work hard but most do NOT have a hard life here.

Someone having it harder than another is not evidence of privilege
Almost no one has an “easy” life. Not sure where you are looking but try the happiness index or the misery index or any survey done in the US. We rank 62nd in happiness for Americans under 30. Americans work hard and are unhappy with the results. That’s the baseline my friend.

Privilege is such a loaded word for the reason I just said. People like you aren’t generally having an easy and happy life so they are defensive about the implication. It’s human nature.

Someone with a harder road then you doesnt indicate priveleage but the vast majority of people having a harder road does. Read this amazing report, I’ve long admired the visuals they use to conceptualize the trends.

Why bring in Hafar’s religion with the Hebrew reference?

Hint: when you are accusing other people of bigotry, try to hide your antisemitism.

I believe Nick Sandman got MILLIONS of dollars after the liberal media lied and defamed him. I was glad to hear it. That boy showed an amazing amount of restraint in the face of a racist who was taunting him.

He probably didn't get millions, or he'd be bragging he got millions. NBC made the mistake of paying him "Go Away" money instead of doing what the press should do when confronted by a shithead... tear his life apart.

I'm sure if they looked, they'd have had no problem finding classmates who'd have happily ratted him out for being a racist and misogynist shithead.

Yes they do

Unhappy with some results does not translate into HARD LIFE. The vast majority of people here do not habve a hard life

People do not oppose the lie and myth of white privilege because they are resentful due to a hard life. They oppose it because it is a lie and it is racist by design

The vast majority do NOT have a harder road. That report is opinionand nothing more.

The vast majority of people who fail to get vocational training of some sort and/or have illegitimate children they can’t afford have a harder life than those who choose more wisely.

Oh, not this shit again.

Uh, Mac, before you go on about how unhappy white people gave us Trump, Trump got less of the white vote than Romney did. This was pointed out to you MANY TIMES, but you keep ignoring it.

Hillary lost because too many idiots voted for third parties or stayed home.

Period.

You are sure because he is white thus proving you are a racist

he showed no evidence of it

Nathan Phillips did show evidence of it

No. What the democrats have a hard time conveying is that America is producing poor results for almost everyone but the top earners and it is most punishing for out-of-favor groups. The problem is, even in-favor groups are struggling so they dont really care. The message by Talarico is right: It’s not left vs right, it’s top vs bottom.

All the wealth and income consolidation charts point to this. However every attempt to address by anyone is characterized as socialism, Marxism and any “ism”. Capitalism isnt perfect. It’s imperfect and needs regulation. Since 1990 the republicans successfully have unleashed unregulated capitalism and we are in the middle of its imperfect results.

This is true. I find that leftists are so out-of-touch and arrogant that they think having children share a bedroom with a sibling, having a window air-conditioner instead of AC, or having to walk to the bus stop in the rain to get to work is a “hard life.”

If you are black, you can murder a white person and half the USA claims you should have zero accountability.

Seems like black privilege.

In Texas, the first degree murder of a White person by a Black person will result in a 17 year in prison sentence.

It is not producing poor results which means ironically the democrats are not failing.

No one claims capitalism is poerfect merely that it is morally right and works. Socialism or any collectivism is morally wrong and fails,

Inequality harms no one

As I said, it clearly exists. The question is the way it's addressed. If it's addressed in a way that creates new problems, or even bigger problems (as we're seeing), then it needs to be reviewed.
