Funny how drought areas coincide with historic deserts.

The state of Oregon has pretty much shut down. I'm here on the coast in the one place where it's kind of mild and definitely not snowy. 34 degrees this morning, it's not even raining.
 
But I have family at the foot of the Blue Mountains on the east side..and they are buried in snow. Just 14 miles from where I am, snow downed power lines last night...
