It is not economically feasible to control the boarders. Thousands of miles of land and thousands upon thousands of miles of coast then add in what starts out to be legal border crossing . It can not be done. What is feasible is making it not profitable to cross the border. There was a time when unions made it impossible for the illegal to work here.
