The video I just saw from the trial of the Floyd incident with the audio of the crowd around looked pretty bad

Yeah, the rabid monkeys are gonna burn Minneapolis down if the cop gets anything less than a life sentence.
If the system will not bring justice, then the people will...we must all hope it does not come to that and that they do their job.

Would you ever want this cop showing up to help you? I would not trust this murderer
People like you are the problem in this country.
Damn right. We hippies are a good problem and will not be ignored.
I hope you get what you deserve.
What I deserve? Is that something like death by smoke inhalation?

That'll work.

Look at those buds! Holy Crow.

What has me concerned here is the "reasonable doubt" rule. The defense is playing up his health and the drugs, and that could theoretically cause doubt.

I'm concerned how they can introduce "reasonable doubt" as to what the jurors are viewing on the tape. they implant that someone on the ground unconscious, is actually still awake and violently struggling,.

No that's not what anyone is debating.

The debate is whether what Chauvin did killed GF. All they have to do is introduce reasonable doubt, the fact that he ingested lethal levels of drugs, for instance, to show that while he had his knee on his neck he could have died from another cause. Having a knee on a neck is not a crime especially with someone resisting like he was.

Do you have something showing the resistance? Because I didn’t see anything particularly aggregious in that video.

ok, not a very good angle...can’t see what Floyd was doing in the car...Besides, ever seen how tight the back of those cars are? I’m 6’4” and 300lbs...I’m sure I’d have trouble getting in.

Murder is decided by a jury in this country.
Did OJ murder his wife?
The jury said "not guilty".
And what do you say in your heart? Do you agree that he didn't do it?

I think he did it
Maybe. The medical examiner report said there was no damage to Floyd's neck. He didn't suffocate. He probably died of a drug overdose.

I think we have to wait on the ME’s testimony on that.
The report is out. No damage to throat, airway or neck. He didn't suffocate.

Which report? It should be interesting to hear the ME on the stand, and how he arrived at his conclusions

BLM is indeed trying to put their thumb on the scale. Let’s hope jurors put that aside.

The difference between what you’re saying here, and what I’m saying is that the trial must go forward unhampered by those looking to lynch the guy. You on the other hand said there shouldn’t even be a trial....

Not saying the cop is an angel here...
But what has bothered me from the get go was Floyd telling the cops he is going to die, I ma afraid to die, don't live me alone in the car I am scared (which is why he resisted going into car)
This man knew he took a lethal dose of a drug. He knew it. Obviously.
So why when asked by the officers twice did you take something - he said no.
He would still be here today if he had told officers he took that much fentanyl. Cops carry antidotes in their cars.

Not sure what kneeling on the neck for nearly 10 mins solved.

I wonder where all these bleeding hearts were when the unarmed White Patriot veteran was laying bleeding after being shot by the Negro Capitol Police?

Piss on Floyd. He was a street thug that got the kind of treatment that most street thugs get sooner or later.

Flash, I like ya as a poster, but we can’t go down the same road as the left would love to exploit us for...We must demand that evidence and fact rule. Nobody deserves to die while being arrested...

I understand.

My point is that bad things happen to street thugs. It is almost inevitable.

That’s true, but we don’t want, nor should we excuse poor behavior from our police.

We don't want Capitol Police shooting unarmed Patriot veteran women protesting election thief, do we?

The thing about Derek Chauvin is that he never sat on my neck. That is because I never was a drug addicted street thug stealing from a store. I never put myself into a position to be abused.

However, your points are valid. Nobody wants police abuse.

Irrelevant to the point.
I already said "not that the cop was an angel" - I didn't dismiss that, you all are willing to dismiss Floyd's contribution to his death. Which is why it isn't Murder. Like I said from the get-go - to me, this is negligent homicide.

That poor man was held for 9 minutes unable to move. Sure he had his issues. So did I when I was younger. It doesn't mean I should have had my claustrophobia tested. Based on what saw? That cop was one of the bad cops.

You broke into a pregnant woman's house, held her at gunpoint and threatened to kill her unborn child? Yea, you DID have some serious issues.
