Murder is decided by a jury in this country.
Did OJ murder his wife?
The jury said "not guilty
And what do you say in your heart? Do you agree that he didn't do it?
I think he did it
Maybe. The medical examiner report said there was no damage to Floyd's neck. He didn't suffocate. He probably died of a drug overdose.
I've read the same reports about the medical examiner's findings. In contrast to the medical examiner's findings, the autopsy report carried out by Dr. Andrew Baker the Hennepin County Medical Examiner in June last year, concluded Floyd's death was a homicide. The report states that Floyd died of "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression." Not exactly in agreement with the medical examiner, and one of them was either lax in the notes or something to come up with conflicting results.
Here's my question, because of the medical examiner's findings of "no signs of trauma", "no signs of strangulation", this reads more like a lack of evidence of a chokehold or use of an object to block an airway. Would a weighed foot on the back of the neck, with a certain amount of constant pressure for a certain amount of time, cause bruising? I'm not sure it would is why I'm throwing that out there.
