The video I just saw from the trial of the Floyd incident with the audio of the crowd around looked pretty bad

The crowd was pleading with police to let Floyd up....Floyd was obvously unconscious and unresponsive and the cop kept his knee on his neck.

The crowd is begging to check his pulse. I never saw this before. I thought the cop couldnt tell.

Fuck man....I dunno.

Has anyone seen that specific video before? With the crowd pleading with police? I had not.
All.of us who watch real media instead of RWNJ infotainment junk have.

If I had been one of the other cops there I would have physically intervened and knocked Chauvin off Floyd's neck. I might have done it if I were a witness, too, and got knocked on my ass or shot, but in a situation like that, it only takes one person to make that first move and others would have followed. I couldn't have stood and watched that. I just couldn't have.

It's always looked bad. Still does. Video evidence is pretty hard to refute with somebody's coronor saying the drugs he swallowed when he saw the cops were going to kill him anyway. People see what people see, especially with emergency police operators calling 911 on her cops and people on the street and the dying man pleading for his life. Looks awful. Like always, I'll go with the 12 person jury, cause it's going to be their call.
What I find interesting is the difference between the medical examiner’s report and the noted cause of death. Just what this case needs is more conflicting reports to gear it toward subjective interpretation.
Most likely they will get the medical examiner up there to explain. If it were just a drug overdose that killed Floyd, that's what the report would have said. It's not like they don't see OD's everyday.

What has me concerned here is the "reasonable doubt" rule. The defense is playing up his health and the drugs, and that could theoretically cause doubt.

I'm concerned how they can introduce "reasonable doubt" as to what the jurors are viewing on the tape. they implant that someone on the ground unconscious, is actually still awake and violently struggling,.

No that's not what anyone is debating.

The debate is whether what Chauvin did killed GF. All they have to do is introduce reasonable doubt, the fact that he ingested lethal levels of drugs, for instance, to show that while he had his knee on his neck he could have died from another cause. Having a knee on a neck is not a crime especially with someone resisting like he was.

Do you have something showing the resistance? Because I didn’t see anything particularly aggregious in that video.

Did OJ murder his wife?
The jury said "not guilty
And what do you say in your heart? Do you agree that he didn't do it?

I think he did it
Maybe. The medical examiner report said there was no damage to Floyd's neck. He didn't suffocate. He probably died of a drug overdose.

I've read the same reports about the medical examiner's findings. In contrast to the medical examiner's findings, the autopsy report carried out by Dr. Andrew Baker the Hennepin County Medical Examiner in June last year, concluded Floyd's death was a homicide. The report states that Floyd died of "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression." Not exactly in agreement with the medical examiner, and one of them was either lax in the notes or something to come up with conflicting results.

Here's my question, because of the medical examiner's findings of "no signs of trauma", "no signs of strangulation", this reads more like a lack of evidence of a chokehold or use of an object to block an airway. Would a weighed foot on the back of the neck, with a certain amount of constant pressure for a certain amount of time, cause bruising? I'm not sure it would is why I'm throwing that out there.

I don't think the officer(s) will be able to get a fair trial.

Having said that, I think Chauvin is guilty of manslaughter.

It's not a good look at all. I don't know how the jury doesn't convict on manslaughter, but Floyd is no friggin' hero either.

I haven't seen the video in a long time...but I remember distinctly Chauvin actually BOUNCING his weight into Floyd

He needn't have been a hero to have been murdered.

uh huh, you think OJ did it. So he murdered someone despite being decided 'not guilty' by a jury.

See?

What the crowd exhorted is irrelevant. They are not the body of authority nor experience in the matter.
Floyd was a mess and dangerous until he was down on the ground and not so. After 1-2 minutes police did not need to continue the same restraining measures but they did. It’s very difficult to watch that and not become angry about why the police did not relent. There Is more to the story but the jury will have to be dissuaded from here on out as to Chauvin. I don’t think they will be and perhaps should not be.

Of course one doesn't have to be a hero in order to be murdered. All I said is that Floyd was no hero. He was in fact a career criminal. As for Chauvin's conduct, it looks to be utterly unacceptable.

I think we have to wait on the ME’s testimony on that.
The report is out. No damage to throat, airway or neck. He didn't suffocate.

Which report? It should be interesting to hear the ME on the stand, and how he arrived at his conclusions
Yeah, the rabid monkeys are gonna burn Minneapolis down if the cop gets anything less than a life sentence.

If the system will not bring justice, then the people will...we must all hope it does not come to that and that they do their job.

Would you ever want this cop showing up to help you? I would not trust this murderer

Nothing to do with this case.

What I deserve? Is that something like death by smoke inhalation?
