I read your newsmax link...I'd sorta point out that the influx of soviet agents into the US under FDR is well known. Donovan and the OSS..later the CIA...actually ran illegal operations behind FDR's back to track as many as they could.
Cool history...but..what, exactly McCarthy's trials had to do with this...is unclear to me. Every Communist in America was not a Soviet agent or spy. Most of McCarthy's suspects were not--and his tactics were ethically incompatible with the ideals of our country.

You. There are power fiefdoms on all sides. They will protect their fiefdom benefits till the end. And there is no end of the people that they can influence and infect. There are bums in the police/corrections/judicial fiefdom that have destroyed people who have done a lot more then they and put their lives on the line more then most. A few black middle east veterans with PTSD killed some cops during the last round of riots because they were screwed with. The problem is that they were so far gone they did not care for themselves as they were killed also. Empathy, sympathy and understanding only goes so far in this macho culture we live in. But the worse is the bums. And the people who protect them for the pay, pensions and benefits. You must collapse the system for justice. Anything less will be a band aid.
