There have been some wins and I have prayed for Americas success, but I guarantee you that Trump NEVER lifts the tariffs back to 145%. Guarantee it. The increase to your debt ceiling just sets America up for default at some.point. China is winning at a time they looked to be on the ropes. Give them credit, they know the U.S VERY well. Russia and China may even share intel on this issue since the both want America to fold, hence Xi and Putins meeting. Trump should have dropped to 80%, make fhat the floor.and negotiate from there. Why would a manufacturer move to America when they know the tariff will just disappear eventually? 30% Is a MASSIVE win for China. Incredible deal.

This climb down almost certainly emboldens Japan and S Korea too. They view this as a sign that China are the alpha dog, they hold all the cards and can manipulate as needed...somehow. The U.S has given them life even after ALL they have done in the last 10 years alone.

Think of this deal from the CCPs perspective. Would you view this as a signal of American strength or weakness? Especialy after all they have done? Create a poison epidemic that kills 100,000 Americans a year and then, what? Offer to "fix it" for economic gain? Would the CCP allow these poisons to occur in China if they came from America? You cant even purchase property there or access the world wide web ffs.

But each issue is fought for its perceived selfish advantages .
Though sometimes sometimes two parties will share common goals .

Strip the soon to be dead EU and NATO --- and you see that it is full of bickering and fractures .
The only time they show unity is when they are pitted against their scripted enemy -- Russia and / or China .
