"Officer Villafuerte believed that he was either going to be run over or pinned between Mr. Gomez-Guerrero’s car and his own squad. Officer Villafuerte believed he was in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm. Confronted by these circumstances, Officer Villafuerte drew his weapon. He fired three shots. He then moved to his right to evade Mr. Gomez-Guerrero’s moving car. Once that threat was removed, Officer Villafuerte immediately stopped firing his weapon and holstered it."

I particularly liked the part 'He then moved to his right to evade Mr. Gomez-Guerrero's moving car'. I think this is one of the complimentary reasons for the 'move out of the way' policy. Believe it or not, discharging your weapon in scenarios like Gomez-Guerrero's or Good's doesn't actually change the laws of physics and motion in that moment lol.
Both perps used their vehicles illegally as weapons and got shot. Two good shoots.
