The top 20 worst things the trump admin has done so far.

Shitbags exist everywhere. Even in FedGov. Your opinion isn't fact.
" Shitbags " is about as good a description of democrats
the last 15 years.Their status today is at an all time low
for the Vaunted party whose Name need be changed.
There are many names that fit today's Democrats.
None ... befitting a National Party.

Yes, you have grievances against the democrats. I have no fucks to give you about that. 🤷‍♀️

They can. They often don't want to.
.

In a culture where emotional maturity is not demanded of chronological adults, they've never been taught that productivity is necessary if you want to keep your job.

IT'S COMING.

.

Obviously, there is a degree of subjectivity to what made it on the list because there are so many things to choose from. They are in chronological order beginning with the start of the regime. My commentary is italicized.

1. Signed an EO seeking to end birthright citizenship. This one made the list because it's unconstitutional.

2. Pardoned everyone involved in the J/6 Capital riot. It is hands down the most egregious abuse of the pardon power in US history. Even I, as cynical as I am about trump, didn't think he would pardon members of his mob who beat up policemen. It set the tone for what was to come.

3. Ordered that officials overseeing diversity, equity and inclusion efforts across the federal government be placed on leave and that agencies take steps to close their offices. This was chosen not for the significance of the order by itself but as a representation of the broader effort to stigmatize the hiring of woman and minorities. Not just in the federal government but in every aspect of employment including private industry.

4. trump said CA should not receive disaster aid for the devastating LA area fires. A comment made out of sheer ignorance and spite because Don doesn't like CA being dominated by Dem's. It would eventually be followed by the calamitous waste of 2B gallons of water in a comical yet tragic act of foolishness. Disaster relief should never be withheld based on politics.

5. Fired over a dozen IG's. Chosen because it is representative of his ongoing efforts to purge any oversight regarding the corrupt acts of his regime.

6. Said the people living in Gaza should be forcibly removed to make way for the development of a resort. I don't think an explanation is needed when someone suggests an area be ethnically cleansed.

7. Blocked, and then rescinded the blockage, of federal grants to all manner of recipients around the country. Putting aside the vagueness of the order creating confusion the move was almost immediately blocked by a court due to its blatant illegality.

8. Put two top security officials at USAID on administrative leave after refusing to give representatives of Elon's access to internal systems. As is the case with a number of actions on this list, this is more representative of the overall effort to illegally usurp the power to control things not under the control of the executive branch, not the act itself.

9. Announced tariffs on imported goods from China and Canada. Again, because there have been so many instances of tariff foolishness this serves as a proxy for all of them. My position on tariffs is they can be effectively used in targeted ways as a means to protect individual industries being disadvantaged by the practices of foreign governments. But they shouldn't be used out of ignorance, vindictiveness, and a misunderstanding of how they work.

10. Commentary suggesting the Panama Canal, Canada, and Greenland become part of the US........the latter by force if necessary. Quite simply the imperialistic rantings of a bombastic 78 year old with delusions of grandeur.

11. This one encompasses a lot. On Bondi's first day she began exerting control over the DoJ. On the agenda, demanding total fealty to trump, identifying FBI agents who participated in trump's investigation so they themselves could be investigated, weaken efforts to combat foreign influence in our elections, and disbanding of the foreign influence task force. It didn't take long for Pam to go back on her pledge during her confirmation that "politics will not play a part" in her decisions. Gosh, what a liar.

12. DOGE. trump called the ruling to block Musk’s cost-cutting team’s access to Treasury payment and data systems “absurd and judicial overreach” and attacked the judge as an “activist.”
Another singular event being exemplary of the broader and numerous abuses and illegal acts of the DOGE team. Many of which have been blocked by the courts. Also of note are the many employees fired under the guise of DOGE that had to be rehired because they perform essential duties. And that many cost cutting claims made by DOGE had to be retracted because they were lies.

13. Lawyers for the trump regime argued that a court order blocking Musk’s aides from entering Treasury's payment and data systems impinged on the president’s absolute powers over the executive branch, which they said the courts could not usurp. My apologies for the redundancy but once again I'm using this as an example of all the times trump has acted in ways that exceed the actual authority given to the prez under the Constitution. Like trying to essentially eliminate the Dept. of Ed. trump also implied he is above the law by saying “He who saves his Country does not violate any Law.”

14. JD Vance's speech in Europe during which he scolded our allies over matters including free speech and immigration. He said the greatest threat facing the European continent was not from Russia and China, but "from within". It was the moment our former European allies were put on notice the US was no longer a reliable partner in the fight against the spread of right wing ideologies.

15. "The US and Russia moved toward a head-spinning reset of their relationship on Tuesday, agreeing to work together on ending the Ukraine war, financial investment and re-establishing normal relations. The meeting between senior officials from both countries was a striking display of bonhomie after three years of American efforts to isolate Moscow for its 2022 invasion."
Saying this was a tectonic shift in the decades long policy towards Russia is, perhaps, an under statement. It was followed by the now famous Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy and accusations by trump that Zelenskyy.......not Putin.......is a dictator responsible for Russia invading Ukraine. In turn followed by trump announcing military aid to Ukraine had stopped as well as intel sharing. Both decisions being reversed because they displayed such overt favoritism for Putin. trump also ordered the Pentagon to stop all cyber-operations against Russia.

16. trump blocked funding for biomedical research despite a court order preventing him from doing so. A policy that was reversed when it's ramifications became apparent. Self-explanatory, dangerous behavior.

17. The trump admin said on Tuesday that it would start handpicking which media outlets were allowed to participate in the presidential press pool, the small, rotating group of reporters who relay the president’s day-to-day activities to the public. The change breaks decades of precedent. It allows the White House to assert more control over which journalists can witness his activities up-close and ask him questions.
A classic move of authoritarian governments endeavoring to control media access and being able to count on trump not getting tough questions from the press pool.

18. Cancelled grant money to a number of American universities while making reinstatement of the grants contingent on the admin being allowed to exert control over university policies and curriculum. Emblematic of trump's attempt to gain control over aspects of American society he sees as threatening to his autocratic ideology. The same can be said for his EO's regarding law firms he sees as enemies because they represented clients who filed various lawsuits against him. Once again, the echoes of authoritarian rule are deafening.

19. The defiance of a court order regarding the deportation of over 200 hundred Venezuelans to an El Salvadorian prison. Quite a lot going on here including trump illegally invoking the AEA, rationalizing his authority to deport people who have not been given due process. And an ongoing investigation, which the admin is stonewalling, as to the timing of the court order relative to when the flights carrying the deportees took off.

20. The Signal chat event during which operational details of an impending attack on the Houthis was discussed on an unsecure communications medium. Wow, where to begin? The regime is sticking to the overt lie nothing included in the communications was classified. The entire episode being reflective of the of the people trump selected to be in charge of national security being unqualified. And, naturally, trump's steadfast refusal to acknowledge the clown show that burst out in to the open for all to see.

I should note the list is an edited version of the NYT's compilation of 67 significant events having taken place since the start of trump 2.0. Many of them had to be left out. It's been a fire hose of controversy, chaos, petulance, childishness, incompetence, broken promises, and appeasement to the worst impulses of his base.

I see no slowing it down until such time as the nationwide protests and anger directed at members of the Repub congressional caucus begins to make them concerned........not about the country........but for their re-election.
So what are the bad things he's done?

Here's a quick list I put together.....

1. Bringing in a new mRNA vaccine. This time around, it's AI-driven!
2. Setting up a 500 billion dollar AI infrastructure that his own colleague (Larry Ellison) openly described as a Technocratic surveillance state.
3. Trying to take over or merge with other North American countries. (Which I believe is not about the reason stated)
4. Teaming up with technocrats and transhumanists. (If anyone doesn't understand why that's bad, learn about Technocracy and Transhumanism.)
5. The Gaza thing (too insane to even describe here)
6. The Yemen thing... and in general continuing the same unconstitutional warmongering foreign policy that continues regardless of who is in office. Also moving us toward war with Iran.
7. Endorsing RINOs like Lindsey Graham, Mike Johnson and many others.
8. Doing a 180 on H1B visas, after running on the exact opposite message.
9. Starting the process of moving us toward a cashless society.
10. Moving us toward digital ID.

I was going to do more, but 10 is enough.
What about his closing the border?
What about his gathering enormous investment?
What about his improving trade deals with China, the UK, and India so far?
What about his cease fire between Pakistan and India?
What about his getting grocery prices reduced?
What about his reviving manufacturing in the US?
What about his protecting religious freedom in the schools?

Nothing about those things?

I fully support the pardon of political prisoners who were peacefully protesting a rigged election.

They didn’t burn down anything like you lefties do. Most of the agitators were FBI and Antifa pretending to be MAGA.
Revisionist history is fun, isn't it?

The top 20 worst things the trump admin has done so far.

Easy. I can do this one from memory:
  1. Not declare the democrat party a seditious terrorist group on Week One.
  2. Not arrest and charge about 30 democrats on Week Two.
  3. Not throw Joe Biden in prison for treason then let him prove he is constitutionally protected from crime.
  4. Not have drugs planted on Hunter Biden.
  5. Not have the Pelosis surrender all property under forfeiture laws for inside trading.
  6. Not climb on top of Zelenskyy and pound him in the face on live TV.
  7. Not have about 150,000 illegals deported by now.
  8. Letting the democrats turn the 'fascism' story against the GOP.
  9. Not have about 10-15 judges locked up already for trying to usurp the power of the president.
  10. Not award about 1500 of the J6ers 10 billion in restitution already.
  11. Not have Garcia's plane crash in the Gulf of America on the way to El Salvador.
  12. Not have Van Holland's plane crash in the Gulf of America on the way back.
  13. Not send about ten democrat congresspeople and judges to CECOT.
  14. Not have closed about ten left wing crooked news outlets.
  15. Not having already made being a democrat grounds for suspicion for being a low life.
  16. Not having cut trillions more from democrat pork projects and errant university funding.
  17. Not having already ended Iran's nuke program with a few big MOABs.
  18. Not having arrested Zelensky and split up Ukraine between Russia and the USA.
  19. Not having arrested Letitia James, Fanny Willis, Alvin Bragg, Judge Endoron, and Judge Merchan.
  20. Not having already secured Panama, Greenland and part of Canada.

Um, did you not even look at the title of the thread and the question asked? It's specifically about the bad things. I've shared my thoughts on some of those things on other threads, btw, but I have no interest in answering your litany of questions on this thread, which would be the opposite of the topic anyway.

I just don’t get the constant negativism. I wake up every day in a great mood, partly because I feel great about the direction of this country with Trump at the helm, which is a decidedly more Christian direction than in the past. Sorry if you don’t.

Yet again you are very wrong. Even though I totally disagree with you on the direction this country is going in, and on Trump, I don't let any of that affect my life or my mood, because I see it all for what it actually is. And most importantly because I look at the big picture. My joy and happiness in life doesn't come from any politicians (let alone fraudulent snakes like Trump) or politics at all. It comes from knowing who I belong to and who I follow, and because I know from ongoing first-hand experience that God works all things together for good in my life, and in the grand scheme of things. So yeah, I couldn't care less about Trump, or the Dems, or any of the BS that is going on, because I know where things are actually going and who wins in the end and how it all ends. :)

Yeah, but positing a litany of negative stuff....I mean, why do it? From the mouth speaketh the heart.

Trump gets you guys coming and going. He tosses out a little bait, and the screamers grab every bit of it.
You really thought Trump was pretending to be the pope?
lol.

Oh my word. AGAIN, read the title of the thread. It was the topic!

Actually, I don't even want to be here at all. It's a gorgeous day and I have a lot of things I'm doing today, including something way more fun and exciting than this place. In fact, I was going to take a posting break for a while, but when I get a notification from someone, I feel like I have to reply. But I'm going to get back to my break, so...hasta la vista!

Yeah, I know it was the topic. Lots of negative stuff posted by angry leftwingers. Doesn't mean you have to join in. That's all I'm saying.

Meanwhile, in other news, the Trump stock market is on its way to posting its 16 winning day in the last 20.

This Is Effed Up On So Many Levels

In an important federal case in Massachusetts over whether deportees can be sent to third countries rather than their countries of origin, the Trump administration admitted Friday to a grievous error and managed to compound it in the process.

It’s a bit complicated so let me boil it down to its essentials:

  • Background: A gay Guatemalan national who had a U.S. immigration judge order barring his removal to his home country because he feared continued persecution was instead deported to Mexico in February by the Trump administration, partly on the grounds that he had told ICE that he didn’t fear being sent to Mexico. That was odd because the man, identified only by the initials O.C.G., had previously testified that he had been targeted and raped in Mexico, his lawyers say.
  • Thursday: The Trump DOJ abruptly cancelled the scheduled deposition of an ICE official “whom Defendants previously identified as giving Plaintiff O.C.G. notice of deportation to Mexico and recording his response of lack of fear,” O.C.G.’s lawyers later told the court.
  • Friday: The Trump DOJ filed a “Notice of Errata” admitting that during the judge’s ordered discovery in the case it had been unable to “identify any officer who asked O.C.G. whether he had a fear of return to Mexico.” A key factual element of the Trump administration’s case had evaporated. But it got worse …
  • Sunday: Lawyers for the deportee – who is now in hiding in Guatemala because he fears persecution as a gay man – filed an emergency motion pointing out, among other things, that the government’s filing about its own error revealed the deportees name and other information, further jeopardizing his safety despite a court order anonymizing his identifying information.
Still with me? In the course of admitting its error, the Trump administration outed the gay man who it had wrongfully deported in the first place.

This case may ultimately yield the third court order for the Trump administration to “facilitate” the return of a wrongfully deported foreign national.

These guys are effing morons.
