The problem is that it costs tens of thousands of dollars a year to keep these animals caged. Executing them costs only a single bullet and a fraction of the cost for the rifle to fire it.
While states in recent years have moved away from Jim Crow-era policies, several still make it difficult for people leaving prison to regain the right to vote

This is mad. So you have a situation where a felon can be president but another felon cant vote for him.
Please explain the logic of this racist policy ?
He seems to be taking the @JoeB131 model of equating race with criminality; assuming that members of a certain race have no choice but to behave like subhuman criminal shit rather than like human beings; and that it is “racist” to expect the same standards of behavior from everyone, regardless of race.

Based on the admittedly small sample that we've seen on this forum of typical Welsh people; it seems to me that Wales must be one of very few places on Earth where, if you were to dilute the extant population by mixing in a generous amount of the very lowest of criminal filth that America is capable of producing, that the net result would be to actually improve the character and quality of the population there. Wales might very well be improved that way almost as much as America would be improved by ridding ourselves of that criminal filth.

Our favorite CLICKBAIT KING is busy stirring an empty pot, once again.
As you know, a felon can have their civil rights restored. This is done on a case-by-case basis, as it should be done.
"When you leave prison, you’ll want to have your rights restored after a felony conviction. Whether this is possible depends on which state you are in. Your location also controls what steps you have to take to have your rights restored."
"Some states automatically restore your rights after you leave prison. Other states automatically restore your rights as well, but they only do so after parole or after you pay your fines or restitution. Fines and restitution can often be thousands of dollars. As a result, your rights may not be restored for a long time (and sometimes ever). In other states, you may have to file an application to restore your rights."
