The sin of knowledge
Genesis 2:9 the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

James 4:12-17 (NKJV)There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and destroy. Who are you to judge another?
Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that."
But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
Therefore, to him who knows to do well and does not do it, to him it is sin.

1 Timothy 5:24-25 some men's sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.
Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do well and does not do it, to him it is sin.

1 Timothy 5:25 Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's works, of what sort it is.
If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.
If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

If knowledge is a sin, you’re blameless.

Knowledge is never the problem. What you do with the knowledge might be, but not the knowledge itself.

This kind of craziness has been used to control the masses for centuries.

And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:9).1

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (Genesis 2:16–17).

The story above in the Garden of Eden tells us that knowledge without wisdom brings death.

And when we look at the world, what do we see? We see knowledge without wisdom bringing death

1. Knowledge of weapons of mass destruction

2. Knowledge of preservatives in foods that end up harming our health

3. Knowledge of bioweapons producing Covid,

4. And those on the Left believe knowledge of exploitation of fossil fuels leading to carbon world wide death! etc.

Man is not plagued by stupid people, rather, man is tortured with very smart people without any wisdom.

They will end up trying to kill us all.

The Bible proven right once again.

Anything good, anything evil was created by God why did God want to hide the knowledge and keep humans dependent on him while not allowing their intellect to grow?

The Bible is wise in the fact that human characters and interpersonal relationships are redundant.

Anything good, anything evil was created by God why did God want to hide the knowledge and keep humans dependent on him while not allowing their intellect to grow?
Man's grasp of knowledge is finite

God's grasp of knowledge is infinite

Therefore, if you want to safely try and grasp knowledge, you do it with God's wisdom and direction.

Anything good, anything evil was created by God why did God want to hide the knowledge and keep humans dependent on him while not allowing their intellect to grow?
Evil was not created by God

Like darkness, evil does not really exist. Darkness is simply describing a lack of light.

Evil is just rejecting a good God who has infinite wisdom.

It seems to me the quotes you posted are more about good works than about knowledge. If many Christians worried about their own good works as they do about what others are doing, the world would be a better place.
