The SAVE America Act is dead

No problem, I was under the assumption you had, until I looked it up earlier this morning. :auiqs.jpg:

The only reason I know about the Senator part, is because I kept looking until I found the answer.
It makes more sense why they added it because Senators represent the State and House Members have districts.

Not really smart on my part, just curious enough to look.

The Senator part also probably has been made moot with Popular election of Senators.

Another thing I would probably try to change with a Constitutional Amendment, go back to the State legislatures appointing them.

No surprises there. Two of America's biggest sellouts.
Mcconnell didnt used to be so bad

But he may be bitter about stepping down as Majority Leader

I saw him on video recently and he cant walk five steps without an aide/nurse holding him up

Until Congress passes a law saying it isn't, and the Elections Clause in the US Constitution specifically states they can.
Sure, sure. Spin whatever excuses you want. I'll still oppose this kind of expansion of federal power. I know you guys are suddenly all excited about gaining new power for your goons, but the other goons will be back in charge at some point and you'll regret it.

You can be opposed to it, but you can't ignore that the Constitution gives the feds the right to do so.

I would not bet the tent money on her honesty if I were you
I'd never do that. Not on a politician. But I wonder why you're so sure she's getting paid for her vote, other than you just don't like how she voted.

I don't believe you. Just in general. Regardless, I'll still oppose the power grab. You should too. But you're too far up Trump's ass to see the damage it will do.

The article is quoted above, idiot.

It's not spin, it's the damn words in the clause. :auiqs.jpg:

And you don't know shit about what I want, because I am not particularly fond of empowering the Federal Government, but I am not going to ignore the US Constitution, because I am not a political hack like you.

Article I, Section 4, Clause 1:

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

I dont like murkowski period

Her father the previous senator reeked of corruption

She is a mostly reliable republican vote, but she stinks to high heaven

Mkay. I don't care. It's too much power for the feds to have. Once upon a time, conservatives understood why this is dangerous. Now they've gone blind in their lust for power.

The problem is some states, including my own, have decided to turn a blind eye to any election fraud as long as it suits their interest. That violates my right as a Federal Citizen in Federal Elections.

Damn right I want the federal government to make sure I retain my right to vote as well as the sanctity of my vote.
