Studying nuclear weapons and their effects is a side hobby of mine that borderlines on pure geekdom.

I had a master plan for a great bunker but then I realized if I walked out of there 2 years later, what would be the point? I'd be dead in 2 weeks.

I had heard about the Samson Option, but I thought Israel would nuke the Muslim countries. This is the first time I heard it might be Europe. What would be Israel's motive for nuking Europe?

Well, if Israel does have nuclear weapons...

Smart Vegas Money says that there are multiple warheads permanently targeted upon Mecca, Medinah, Riyadh, Damascus, Baghdad and Tehran...

With operational contingency plans for quick-targeting of a few other nearby key points, as well as for the cooking-down of invading armies mustering beyond their borders, as needed...

And, what other power leaves their nuclear arsenal ambiguous to the rest of the world, preferring mystery to openness in that respect?

Every other nuclear power on the face of the planet has rattled their nuclear sword to some extent or another, at some point in their history of possession of such weaponry.

Such silence and ambiguity strikes me - and a great many others, I dare say - as a demonstration of responsible 'gun ownership', above and beyond that manifested by so many of her nuclear-armed contemporaries.

Purely as a matter of personal opinion...

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being least trusted, and 10 being most trusted...

My comfort level with Israel having nuclear weapons is a solid 7...

Whereas my comfort level with any of their neighbors having them would be a 1 or 2 or 3...

Although I might be talked into according Egypt a 4 or 5...
