The Sad Heartbreaking Unnecessary Death Of The Wicked.

"There are some men that ought to be killed". said Bitterlycold Hard.

"That's true", replied Merci Grace, "the police shot to death Badd Mann
who refused to drop his gun. Mann had just murdered three bank tellers."

"I hope Mann died slow and in agony. I would have enjoyed seeing him
shot to pieces", replied Bitterlycold Hard.

"The bank robbing murderer Badd Mann didn't have to die like that", said
Merci Grace, "the Lord Jesus would have saved him, but Badd said no to
God."

"That's true", replied Forgiven Christian, "Badd had previously posted on
social media that he 'wanted no part of the God of the Bible.' "

"I'm glad he's dead and in Hell", smirked Bitterlycold Hard.

"Quite unlike God on that, you are", replied Merci Grace. "He says,
'Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked . . . rather am I not
pleased when they turn from their [evil] ways and live? I take no pleasure
in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord.' " {Ezekiel 18:23, 32}

Justice Shallbedone speaks:

Once there was an evil king named Jehoiakim whose heart was set on
dishonest gain, shedding innocent blood, oppression and extortion. "Therefore,
this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim . . . He will have the burial of a
donkey ~ dragged away and thrown outside the gates of Jerusalem."
{Jeremiah 22:18-19}

"But God took no pleasure in the death of Jehoiakim", said Merci Grace.
God wanted him to turn from his wicked ways and repent."

"Agreed", replied Justice Shallbedone.

"There but for the grace of God, go I", said Forgiven Christian.

Justice Shallbedone speaks again:

"The evil King Jehoram's intestines came out", said Justice Shallbedone.

"What?"

"Jehoram [King Of Judah] received a letter from Elijah the prophet, which said:
'This is what the Lord . . . says: you have murdered your own brothers, members
of your own family, men who were better than you . . . [therefore] you . . . will be
very ill with a lingering disease of the bowels, until the disease causes your bowels
to come out.' " {2 Chronicles 21:12-15}.

"I would have greatly enjoyed watching Jehoram's bowels come out,
and hearing his moans of agony as he died", said Bitterlycold Hard.

"God took no pleasure in the agony-death of Jehoram", said Merci Grace.
"God wanted him to be a good man, but Jehoram was locked-down in his
Free Will upon doing evil. He chose cold-blooded murder."

"What you said is true", replied Justice Shallbedone, "and justice had to be
done. God cannot be mocked ~ the Universe would not survive it."

"I would have greatly enjoyed watching him die", replied Bitterlycold Hard.

"That's very much unlike God", said Merci Grace. 'God does not want anyone
to perish, but for everyone to come to repentance.' " {2 Peter 3:9}

"You are right again", said Justice Shallbedone. "God even repeats His true
heart's desire for us to hear once again on this matter and He says", 'As surely
as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the
wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn! from your
evil ways.' " {Ezekiel 33:11}

Forgiven Christian speaks:

"Yes that's right", 'God our Savior . . . wants all people to be saved and to come
to a knowledge of the truth.' " {2 Timothy 2:3-4}

"Agreed", replied Justice Shallbedone, "but God has given men Free Will. The Bible
offers men a choice: 'Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve . . . . but as
for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.' " {Joshua 24:15}

"Jehoiakim and Jehoram chose the Dark Side and that led to their destruction", said
Forgiven Christian.

"I'm sad to say", replied Merci Grace, "that some men will choose death and destruction.
It says, 'At the end of the age. The Son Of Man will send out His angles, and they will
weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will be
thrown into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' "
{Matthew 13:40-42}.

"That's so sad and it doesn't have to end like that", said Forgiven Christian, "because
God says, 'Turn to Me and be saved, all you ends of the Earth.' " {Isaiah 45:22}

"Yes amen", replied Merci Grace, "and it says 'for the grace of God has appeared that
offers salvation to all people.' " {Titus 2:11}

"Hallelujah to the Lamb", said Justice Shallbedone.

"Amen to that", smiled Forgiven Christian. 'Behold the Lamb of God,
which taketh away the sin of the world.' " {John 1:29}

Father, we thank You for sending Your Son the Lord Jesus, who went straight
into the pain of The Cross to save us from our sins. And we thank You for His
Resurrection which conquered Death for us, thereby giving us Eternal Life.

Merci Grace speaks:

And now Jesus says:
"Here I am. I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens
the door. I will come in and eat with that person and they with Me." {Rev. 3:20}.

Can't expect people who don't value their own lives to value anybody else's.

Then he floods the Earth and kills 99 9/10th of all humans..

Then he floods the Earth and kills 99 9/10th of all humans..
And doing that was a very good thing to do.

Here is why:

"The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race
had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the
thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.:
Genesis 6:5

"Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full
of violence.
God saw how corrupt the earth had become,
for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways."
Genesis 6:11-12

The Sovereign God has a ministry of giving life and hope
to the righteous believers . . .

but , , ,

The Sovereign God has a ministry of DEATH to the wicked
and to the unbelievers and He will destroy them in due time.

John 3:16 offers all men two choices:
(1) Believe in Jesus as your Savior and get Eternal Life.
(2) Refuse to believe in Jesus as your Savior and experience the
perish of John 3:16

God does not wish anyone to die in their sin........God wants everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth and find salvation. What is that knowledge? There is a sin that leads to death........the sin that remains "unrepentant" or the sin one refuses to turn away from.

You speak of the "wicked" and would have forgiveness in your heart? Even when its the wicked that chooses their own path and remains unrepentant? God makes "righteous" judgements, one's sins can't be hidden from God, nor can anyone purchase their way to safety and salvation with ill gotten gains. (Ps. 49:6-8, Ez. 7:19). But........safety can be found in righteousness (1 Tim. 4:8)

Because upright citizens follow righteousness within the moral codes established via LAW, God's teachings help guide him in making decisions that keep him safe. The wicked on the other hand are brought low by their own sins, its not God's fault they choose to sin, THE LAW does not produce morality.....it defines it. (Prov. 1:31, 5:22-23) The wicked brings judgment upon themselves........sometimes that judgment comes in the form of capital punishment.

It was God who instituted "capital punishment" and its carried over into the New Testament. (Genesis 9:5-6), "Surely for your life's blood I will demand a reckoning......................Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed."

In the New Testament covenant God has authorized the world governments to direct punitive judgements upon the wicked, to the point of capital punished should there be a crime against humanity...i.e., the spilling of innocent blood. (Rom. 13:1-4)

Wicked is simply a synonym for EVIL. Evil should be confronted wherever it exists. When wickedness or evil is tolerated through appeasement........you get things like, World Wars, Murders.....etc., the wicked engage in wicked acts.

God also authorizes Self Defense to the point of using weapons to protect life and property. The Christ even had His apostles arm themselves when arms might be required (Luke 22:36). The Christ taught in parable, "When a strong man, fully armed, defends his palace, his goods are at peace." (Luke 11:21).

Is that the same god who asks us to turn the other cheek?
I think Jesus applied it to himself as he didn't seek revenge against those who crucified him. He forgave them instead saying they did not know what they were doing. In time, he'll come again and destroy the world and toss the sinners into hell.

You should read the Bible sometime it is very illuminating, and that way you won't have to make stuff up.

Matthew 5:38-40
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’
39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.
40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

People who wanted people to not obey Christs meek lowly way, not using money are not bad? We would not have banks, had they adhered to Christs teachings. People could have the best of whatever.

Ezekiel 18:32 “For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” I will help you with the trinity thing. Jesus is one who sits on one throne. The Unseen Father is in Christs mind. That is two. Jesus is in the form of the Holy Spirit guiding people into all truth. That makes three. It is not the pain on the cross. It was what Christ did not do, having the power to do it. It would have been all over had Jesus come down from the cross. Death would have come into Jesus. The Unseen Father would have been cast into Satan's prison when Jesus died. The same thing would have happened had Jesus sinned in anything. Jesus would not be able to save us, living in our mind.

Thanks, I'll never get this trinity thing.

King James Version (KJV)

I smiled.

I agree with the coming in and eating with whoever verse. Jesus ate with publicans and tax collectors. They will get into God's kingdom before they that wanted Jesus to be dead. Death is wanted for zoosexuals, pedophilia people, and gays. Furries, and bronies are given bad words. The spirit against them is the same spirit that was against Jesus. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. The die in God's light.

They chose the violent Satan as their master. What is God to do? There was a family obeying his ways. God did the right thing saving them.
