I have owned and worked on every major EU car besides MB, yes they are nice until something breaks, basic parts can be found for a decent price but if it's dealer only, $$$$ and you often need to buy a special "tool" for the job.
forget about taking it to your local dealer, put your wallet in your mouth and grab your ankles.......

An American car (incl. import Tariffs) costs at average 50% of a German car.
Go and check some price-lists regarding cars in Germany - instead of regurgitating Trump bull.

So the reluctance by e.g. Germans to buy gasoline guzzlers, environmental, safety standard backward cars, displaying furthermore a mediocre quality and materials - has NOTHING to do with Tariffs. But ONLY with, US cars SUCK.

Furthermore the vast majority of "German" cars sold in the USA are produced in the USA and Mexico.
So complain and whine to your own US consumers - that for some reasons prefer to buy e.g. German cars instead of US models.
