The republicans are guilty of Dine and Dash!

The balancing the budget agenda has been going on for many many years. How about if you balance it? Make the choices that will do it. Infrastructure Bill would be good at half the price. Pork and programs. The Reconcilliation Bill will add more new programs. Programs that are never eliminated and keep growing. The germinating flowers become massive weeds that are not thankful as they infect more and more of all the land.
they want 3.5 trillion bucks and their going to get it. Tramp had 8.3 trillion in debt in 4 years.

Penelope@Penelope
What a load of horse shit that bill is. Only 45% of it for infrastructure the rest is a hodge podge of green shit and social spending which we already have enough of.

I hope that bill gets kicked to the curb. Where it belongs. You seem to forget we the tax payer will be paying for it.

Why should we help cover that bill, the GOP is responding in essence, when our dinner companion is right now preparing to order a 10-course meal against our objections?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

we are asking 3.5 trillion as compared tramp ran up the debt to 8.3 trillion is his 4 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instead, his budget estimates showed that he would actually add at least $8.3 trillion, increasing the U.S. debt to $28.5 trillion by 2025.2
Republicans never put forth a bill totaling 3.5 trillion that Democrats opposed. And don't give me any of that tax bill crap because after the tax bill, government receipts actually went up, not down.

The last guy spent a lot of money therefore I should be able to spend a lot of money.

What the money is being spent on seems suspiciously absent from the silly point in the OP.

the republicans always care about the debt when the democrats are in power.
And the only time democrats care about it are when Republicans are in power. What's your point, that one is superior to the other on the debt?

Why this theater plays out over and over again and the rubes always fall for it is amazing. This is how it will go down. The democrats will whine and wail about how they can't, just can't raise the debt ceiling because the Republicans will look at them sideways if they don't adopt some spending restraint. The Republicans will puff up their chests and rattle their sabers, threatening to look sideways at the democrats if they dare to raise the ceiling without spending restraints. The slavishly devoted democrat media will trumpet the narrative that the Republicans are evil because they're going to look sideways at democrats and oh, how will we survive as a nation if we can't borrow more money to handle all this so very important spending? Behind the scenes they will all sit around a table and do some horse trading. Eventually, they will come out with a massive bill that no one has read in its entirety that raises the ceiling and unleashes massive new spending. The democrats will preen with the help of their sycophantic media that they once again vanquished the budget dragon by borrowing more money, and the cycle will start anew. Only long after the fact and when it's far too late to do anything about it will anyone discover that the bill has a whole bunch of pork barrel spending that benefit democrat re-election hopes and very little else. People will be outraged but the spending won't stop.

The government will not default, the government will not fall. The ONLY thing that stops the theater will be when no one will loan any more money and the curtain comes down.
From your post to Gods ear Time to put evil republican traitors in their place

Well it sure ain't going to billionaires like it did under Drump

Well we did have a budget agreement process back in the 1990s. And Pelosi passed a pay as you go provision .... but W's wars weren't affected, so it was one of the "casualties."

But the dems have spent around 3T already and want to go at least double that. So one might see them having a point, but Trump went way past 6T.

And the dems don't want to repeal "all" of Trump's tax cuts.

Bending, Bush wasn't President until 2001. Your statement is flawed from the start.
