Not even close. A nuke requires more than an impact to initiate the explosion. They deliberately detonate them above the target to maximize damage.

Modern ballistic missiles have multiple warheads that are "smart" and will separate and head towards different targets.

But detonation at a couple thousand feet up gets you more damage.
