If we're speculating here....the real reason for all this craziness COULD be because we're nearing the end of the current monetary system (which would've happened with or without Trump, that has been a long-standing plan of the ptsb) and from their perspective, the old financial system must crash and burn for the new system to rise from the ashes.

As someone else put it on x, "Destabilizing the USD opens the door for a new world reserve currency— likely a “digital dollar” linked to the blockchain."
