The real reason Trump changed course on Tariffs.

Whenever a thread title starts with, "The real reason", I know to look for a foil helmet somebody bought believing it would give them mindreading powers.
So, of course, you ignored any facts shown to you to back it up.

One of the richest democrats in the world, Warren Buffet disagrees. Warren Buffet is buying treasury bills
T bills and bonds are not the same thing.

Treasury bills do not pay any interest payments and payoff when they mature or are sold. Treasury bonds will pay you interest twice a year. Treasury bills function more like cash in your portfolio and can be a safe harbor during turbulent economic times.

I only commented on the absurdity of the usual suspects thinking they know the real reason for just about anything.

If the UK Daily Mail calls Trump's tariff controversy a "meltdown", what did they think of Obama's Fannie Mae collapse and Biden's Covid restrictions that closed thousands of small businesses? Not much? How is Brexit doing on the other side of the pond?

No one wants to hear from democrats about any subject. Your party fuckin sucks. Youre fiscally irresponsible, corrupt, and you wrecked the country with lawfare and mass illegal migration.
Shut your dumb fucking mouth. You are a clown. :cuckoo:

I guess that is why I said Warren buffet is buying treasury bills, because he is.

He's got the power over them and they can't quit him.

More awesome than that, Donald J. Trump has the power to send liberals into fits of rage, where they foam at the mouth and babble unintelligibly about "fascism" and "muh threat to democracy..."

:laughing0301:

The wicked witch... Democrat governor Gretchen Whitmer (remember her during Covid?) agrees with Trump on trade.

And I haven't seen anyone mention this, but he called her a "very good person" who has done "a really excellent job." (of course he likes her, he's the Jabfather)

JGalt I think you misunderstood my point... but that's OK. I'll take the reaction. lol

You and I have our differences and I'm pretty sure it's not my fault.

But I do agree that Whitmer is a wicked witch bitch. If there's one regret I have in my life, it's that I didn't get to take part in that militia group "plot" to kidnap her.

I would have loved nothing more than to have her bound and gagged in a closet, while I tickled her with a feather duster, until she peed in her panties.

I was going to give you a "fact" or thumbs up, until that last sentence.... it felt weird for me to thumbs up that.

I think he was trying to undermine her hopes for '28 by praising her. 😂

She, OTOH, was attempting to appear moderate. She's already spoken out against tariffs

Once one of Trump’s most vocal critics during his first term and the campaign trail last year, Whitmer has adopted a more measured tone toward the president since his reelection, delivering multiple speeches in which she has called for finding “common ground.”

“If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu,” Whitmer said during a discussion after her speech. “My oath to the people of Michigan is to continue to show up, even when it means I’m going to get my lunch handed to me.”
